Monaco Stamp Set 2020 - 75th Anniversary of United Nations Organization

Monaco issued a more colourful set to mark the 75th Anniversary of United Nations Organization. Both stamps of the set display the official "UN75" Logo to celebrate the occasion.

To mark its 75th anniversary, the United Nations launched the UN75 initiative, a wide-ranging and inclusive debate spanning the entire globe on the role of international cooperation in building a better future for humanity. To overcome problems such as the climate crisis, inequality and new patterns of violence, and to address the major demographic and technological change of our era, we need cooperation that cuts across borders, sectors and generations. This is also required to achieve the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

Lions Club Centenary 2017 Stamps List - Issued by all countries

Lions Clubs International (LCI) is an international non-political service organization established originally in 1917 in Chicago, Illinois, by Melvin Jones. It is now headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois. As of now, it had over 46,000 local clubs and more than 1.4 million members (Lions & LEO) in more than 200 countries around the world.

Lion's Club Centennial Logo - 2017

The Lions motto is "We Serve". Lions Club programs include sight conservation, hearing and speech conservation, diabetes awareness, youth outreach, international relations, environmental issues, and many other programs. The discussion of politics and religion is forbidden.
The LIONS acronym also stands for Liberty, Intelligence, Our Nations' Safety.

In 2017, Lions Clubs International celebrated 100 years of the club with the title "Lions Clubs Centennial" or "Lions Clubs Centenary".  Lions and Leos from around the world participated in special initiatives, programs and events to celebrate a century of serving humanity. It was truly a celebration unlike any the world has ever seen.

From philatelic point of view, many countries issued special commemorative stamps to mark the occasion of Lions Club Centenary. While most of these stamps were issued in 2017, Sri Lanka mis-timed the issue in December 2016, whereas India & Panama joined in the race as late comers in 2018 as well.

Monaco - 2018 FIFA World Cup Postage Stamp

Monaco issued a single stamp on 16 Apr 2018, for FIFA 2018 World Cup Russia event.

Monaco stamp for 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia shows Russian map with stars placed on all the World Cup venues, flags of all the 32 participating nations and 4 football players including a goalkeeper.

An aesthetically designed beauty indeed!

The Monaco 2018 Football World Cup stamp was designed by David MARASKIN and the denomination is €1.30.

Size of the stamp is 40.85 x 30 mm with horizontal orientation.

 A FDC was also issued for 2018 FIFA World Cup Monaco Stamp.

The Monaco FIFA 2018 stamp has been issued in a sheet of 10 stamps with duration of the FIFA 2018 World Cup Russia in the imprint, which is 14 June - 15 July 2018 and a bar code as well.
