Floral Love

Here's the nails that I'm sporting for this year's Valentine's Day. The base is a gradient of Color Club Feathered Hair Out To There, Xtreme Wear Tickled Pink, and Xtreme Wear Daycream and I used a ton of other polishes for the floral.

Here's a bit more of an understated Valentine's design. The base is Milani Red Label and I added a glitter gradient with China Glaze Ring In The Red, Color Club Art of Seduction and Sinful Colors Decadent.

Cascading Hearts

My first Valentine's Day nails of the year are these cute falling hearts. I wasn't sure about these as I was doing them but I ended up loving them. The base is a gradient using Xtreme Wear Tickled Pink, Color Club Kiss My French and a white, for the hearts I used basically every pick I own.

Valentine's Glitter Placement

I don't think anyone would be surprised that I did a glitter placement design for Valentine's Day. Because of the shape of the glitter, the heart had to be more narrow than I would have wanted, but I still like how it looks. It might be a bit difficult to make out the heart in pictures, but in person its much more distinct. For the glitter placement I used Milani Hot Pink and Milani Silver. The glitter gradient nail was done using both Milani Hot Pink and Xtreme Wear Pink-y Ring on Color Club Vintage Couture.

Love Letter

Hello! Today I have some actual Valentine's nails. I've never done any love letter nails before and I wanted to go full out with this design. We have a bird delivering the letter, the letter waiting in the mailbox, opening the letter full of love, and then what's written in the letter! These are definitely some of my favorite Valentine's nails ever; they're so sweet and I love how they sort of tell a story. For the base colors I used Color Club Kiss My French, and China Glaze New Birth, and the details are primarily China Glaze Fresh Prince-ss, China Glaze Dune Our Thing, China Glaze Tart-y For The Party, and Essie Petal Pushers.

Cupid's Bow

Here's the design I did for Valentine's day! It's the first time I've ever really done anything Cupid themed. I used Xtreme Wear Tickled Pink, Zoya Shelby, Xtreme Wear All Bright, and Nicole By OPI Challenge Red-y.

Valentine's Skittlette

Here's another Valentine's Day manicure! I suppose this could really be worn any time of the year though, as long as you love pink and hearts! I do skittlettes pretty often, so I really tried to avoid it this time, but it just turned into one, I couldn't help it. The pink is China Glaze Glow With The Flow. Of course I also had to make it matte, mostly because I used a lot of black and nothing is better than a matte black.

X and O's Valentine Manicure

Hello, today I have my first Valentine's Day manicure this year, and I went with the X and O theme. The red is Revlon Valentine and the glitter is Color Club Art Of Seduction, which I applied with a sponge to get a nice dense coverage. This was also a great excuse for me to use heart shaped gems.

Valentine's Day Nails

Happy Valentine's Day! Here is what I wore on my nails today. The pinks are China Glaze Feel The Breeze and Dune Our Thing. The only thing that's really bugging me about these nails is that stupid fiber on my ring finger!

PNMC: Hearts

Hello! I had to take a break from the 52 Week PNMC, but now I'm trying to get back into it. The prompt for this week is hearts. I decided to freehand some open hearts because it's something that I've never done before. The base is a gradient using China Glaze Wanderlust and Dashboard Dreamer.

GOT Polish Challenge: Valentines

Hello! This Thursday's theme is Valentines. This is also the manicure that I will be wearing for Valentine's Day tomorrow. I decided to do a skittle mani, and as opposed to my last Valentine's manicure, I went full out with the red and pink. I love how each nail is a totally different style. Personally, I love the middle nail the best, and might do a full manicure of it eventually. I used a bunch of polishes for this design, some old, and some a bit less so.
Pointer: The base is Xtreme Wear Bubblegum Pink. I grabbed a bunch of random polished for the hearts, so I'm not sure what they are...
Middle: The base is Color Club Kiss My French. For the base of the hearts I used a French polish called Laque Evidemment Rose Pivoine, i think. The detailing is Xtreme Wear Pretty In Hot Pink and the leaves are China Glaze Starboard.
Ring: The base of my ring finger is Xtreme Wear Berry Juicy. Then I sponged on China Glaze Love Marilyn, Xtreme Wear Pink-y Ring, and Milani Hot Pink.
Pinky: The X's are Nicole By OPI Challenge Red-y, and the O is Color Club Yum Gum.

Valentine's Day: Minimal Pink

Today I'm sporting another Valentine's day manicure. This is a pretty standard design, but I wanted to do something that didn't emphasize pink too much. I love these colors together, but unfortunately when I added top coat the pink ended up blending into the base little too much. It can be a bit difficult to make out the pink hearts.
The base is Zoya Jacqueline, the pink is Xtreme Wear Berry Juicy, and the green is Zoya Neely.

Valentines Lattice With Hearts

Hello! Today I am sporting an early Valentine's Day manicure. I decided to do another lattice design, but this time I gave it a Valentine twist. For the base I did a gradient using Revlon Cherries In The Snow, Xtreme Wear Pretty In Hot Pink, and Color Club Vintage Couture. The grey is Revlon Iconic. For the hearts I just used Pretty In Hot Pink, and Vintage Couture again. I didn't use Cherries In The Snow because I didn't think it would look good over that dark of a grey.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hello! Happy Valentine's Day! This is the manicure that I am wearing for the occasion. I like that this design isn't overly Valentines-y, and could be worn pretty much any time of the year. The base color is OPI Can't Find My Czechbook, The pink is Xtreme Wear Pretty In Hot Pink, and the light blue is Zoya Blu.

V-Day Skittle

Hello! Today I have another Valentine's Day nail art! Of course I had to do at least one skittle manicure! This is what I came up with. The dark pink is Xtreme Wear Pink Punch, and the light one is Zoya Shelby. The light purple is Xtreme Wear Lacey Lilac. The purple glitter is Color Club Tru Passion, and the gold is Sultry Diva.

Chevron Hearts

Hello! This is my first Valentine's Day nail art this year! I should have one or two more coming. The inspiration for this design actually came from a folder I have. I really wanted to paint the design before, but I've been waiting to do it for Valentines Day! The folder has a longer chevron pattern, but this was all I could fit on my nails. I love how this one turned out!
I used Zoya Mira, Xtreme Wear Pink Punch, Color Club Vintage Couture, and Xtreme Wear Lacey Lilac.

Simple V-Day

This post is one of three Valentines looks I will be doing. This is a very simple and cute look tat nearly anyone can do. Warning: Pictures are taken of my right hand.
I used all Color Club. The Colors are Vintage Couture, Yum Gum, Raspberry Rush, and Heart To Heart. The only color not Color Club is the white which is Wet N Wild French White Creme. I used the same colors for the little hearts.
