Happy Birthday + Tips for Saving, or should I say Earning?

Now about the tip! A month ago I found out about Swagbucks, do you know about them? Tengo que decirte que si quieres ahorrar un poco en tus productos para "scrapbook", "stamping", libros y más, debes unirte a Swagbucks. Something from me!

Yes, I know I am MIA again! Lots of things going on and I don't have enough time to come here to share with you, but it's not because I don't want to, I miss you soooo very much!!!

Here is a quick card I did using Mabelle's digis paired with a sentiment from TAC that I love very much!! that font is so cute!! I colored my image with Copic Markers, you know I love to color and these days I need some stress relief so coloring comes handy, lol!!

Hope to share some other cards very soon, I need to be here more often, just to seat here to "talk" to you is sooooo cool, lol!

Last days and TWO cards!

I know I am MIA again!!! I will tell you soon what is going with me, but until then just forgive me! First things first! This are two cards I just did. Yesterday, while I was watching TV with DH I colored this two images so today's work was nice and easy, create these simple cards to feature these awesome little girls! Don't you think they are just specTACular? I really love them and I have so much fun coloring them. I stamped 3 images just in case I mess up something, I color these two and the other I couldn't finish it, but NO, I didn't mess up any of them, lol. That's something I love about the Copic Markers, you can go over and over until you get the results you want, doesn't that sounds cool? I really LOVE my Copic markers! BTW, I also used my Cuttlebug embossing folders!! I am using my stuff, how about you? Let's get the dust out of our stuff and start creating, it's something FUN you can do soon! Share with me if you use something you haven't use it in a long time.

Lo se, sé que soy nuevo Perdida! Les prometo contarles pronto lo que está pasando conmigo, pero hasta entonces les pido que me disculpen, sale? Primero lo primero! Estos son dos tarjetas que acabo de hacer. Ayer, mientras estaba viendo la televisión con DH aproveché para colorear estas dos imágenes. Así que el trabajo de hoy era agradable y fácil, crear estas tarjetas simple para destacar estas hermosas chicas! ¿No te parece que son especTACulares? Realmente me encanta y me divierto mucho coloreando. Comencé estampando 3 imágenes (por si ocurría un desastre)pero colorié estas dos y la otra no pude terminarla, pero no, no estropié ninguna de ellas, jeje. Eso es algo que me encanta de los marcadores de Copic, que puedes colorear una y otra vez por encima hasta que obtengas los resultados que deseas, ¿no es maravilloso? Me encantan mi marcadores Copic! BTW, también he usado mis Cuttlebug "embossing folders"! Si! estoy usando mis cosas, ¿y tú? Vamos a sacarle el polvo a nuestras cosas y empezar a usarlas para crear algo, es algo divertido que puedes hacer en seguida! Comparte conmigo si utilizas algo que no usabas hace mucho tiempo.

Tag it Challenge!

I know you have a lot of tags from the paper collections you have and don't know what to do with all of them, right? so here is an idea on how to use it in a card. You know I love to use them, because they can give you just what you need to create a quick card! I love that JOY word, don't you? is just perfect! It comes with the Joyful Ornaments set wich is a great one!! I also used the Script background and my NEW Cuttlebug Strip Embossing Folder, it's sooo cool!! Have you done a lot of scrapbooking shopping lately? Ouch (PLEASE don't tell anyone) I have done a lot and now I need to STOP and create!!! I told you that I was busy with everything and have no time to scrap, BUT shopping doesn't require energy, time or creativity, lol, so that was what I did with the lil time I had!! So I think I am cover for the entire 2009!!! yeahhhh!! No more shopping 'til 2010.

I am off to get together a lil candy to celebrate that I am soooo close to 50,000 hits! Oh, can you beleive it? THANKS for visiting me, THANKS for your comments and THANKS for a great year!! I love to receive your comments and your visits here!! Talk to you tomorrow.

Sé que, al igual que yo, tienes un montón de etiquetas de las que vienen con las colecciones de papel y no saben qué hacer con tantas, ¿verdad? asi que aquí les presento una idea de cómo usarlo en una tarjeta. Sabes que me encanta usarlas porque con ellas se puede crear una tarjeta rápido! Me encanta esa palabra JOY, ¿no? es simplemente perfecta! Viene con el set "Joyful Ornaments" que es un set que me encanta!! También usé el "Script Background" y mi nuevo Cuttlebug Embossing Folder de Franjas, está SUPER cool!! ¿Has hecho muchas compras últimamente? Ouch (Por favor no le digas a nadie) yo si, jeje!! ahora tengo que parar de comprar y comenzar a crear! Les dije que estaba ocupada con todo y no tenía tiempo para crear, pero ir de compras en la internet no requiere energía, mucho tiempo y mucho menos creatividad, jeje, así que fue lo que hice con el corto tiempo que tenía! Bueno al menos ya creo que no necesito nada mas durante este año 2009, wohoooo ya tengo todo lo que necesito por este año. No más compras hasta el 2010.

Where April is going?

WOW! today is 23, time is sure flying!! Oh well, don't forget to get the April's promotions as soon as you can because is only one week to go!! This card is a quick and easy card for those times when you noticed that you should have done a card!! (but you didn't!). I like how this colors look together! and the simple and sophisticated look that they have! I used the Booko Blessings set again! I am loving this sentiments!!

The other day I promised someone to share my Bread Pudding Recipe, so here it goes:

¼ cup Margarine (I use canola)

2 cups Brown Sugar

4 Beaten Eggs

2 tsp. Vanilla

1 tsp. Cinamon

1 pd Whole Wheat Bread

2 ½ cups Soy Milk

Pre-heat oven to 350. Beat eggs. In another bowl mix the sugar with the margarine. Mix together the eggs with the sugar and margarine mix. Add the milk, cinamon and vanilla. Crumble the bread on top of the mix and blend it together. Pour the mixture in a grease pand and bake for about 45-50 mins. Enjoy it!

Where is February going?

Have you noticed that today is February 19? WOW!! but where February is going? why he is in such a hurry?? Will March bring us such a great time that he is just crazy about it? Well anyway!! My day today went pretty fast!! and I couldn't take a picture to my card! I will try in the early morning to update the post and upload it!! Just to let you know what was happening!! but I did work okay! so I will share tomorrow!

11 days 'til CHRISTMAS and BLOG HOP!

I'm sooo excited!! A special Angel! decided to start doing a BLOG HOP! and she made 2-3 that I couldn't enter because I had no extra time or because I didn't have anything to work with the theme!! I have seen a lot of Winter creations out there! BUT the winter in Puerto Rico doesn't look like the one I love to see on your creations, lol!

The other day I was on Paper Wings and noticed the theme for the new BLOG HOP!! do you have an idea about what the theme is? yessssss, is WINTER! So I said to myself, this is your chance to do something WINTER! without been looking crazy, lol!! So here is my creation for the BLOG HOP! Hope you enjoy it, I can tell you that I enjoy a lot! doing it, I had LOTS OF FUN!! can you imagine? I used glitter, liquid applique, snowflakes!! and this darling set! (Welcome Home) that I felt in love with since I saw it on the catalog and this is my first card with it!! wohoooooooooo!! Of course I added my lovely trim!! and a lil bit of texture using the cuttlebug embossing folders, what you think?

WCMD 2008 - Projects' Pictures

Just a lil treat!

Yeah!!! Tomorrow is World Card Making Day! (WCMD) and of course I'm going to be celebrating it! I have a Card Making Day at my house!! using the Spanish Sentiment Stamp of course!! lol. So we are going to be doing 16 cards! (2 each of 8 designs) I did this lil treat to my hostess club members who order the Spanish Sentiment set but that didn't have the chance to come and play with me!

This is what I did: I put 10 white cards in this cute bag (I use the Cuttlebug Swiss dot folder to embelish it) and then add a ribbon with a felt flower and a scallop punch!! with the "para ti" phrase wich is "For you". Don't you like it? I love it!! and I know the Club Organizer just love it too!!

Talk to you tomorrow (I hope) I need to finish some details downstairs! I will love to share with you the sketches we are going to be working tomorrow!! (I designed them!! hope they like them, lol)

Wednesday of Challenge!!

Is October!!! WOW! this means Christmas is just around the corner!! I can't beleive it!!!

Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! "the Winger Team decided to show our support for all those affected by this disease and create a special gallery for ALL of Paper wings. We would like to dedicate it to our own Team Member, Rita Holmes."

So one of the Challenge for Wingers was!! Think Pink and try a Rita's TACnique! I invite you to visit the gallery! and to check back often because now we have challenge everyone on PW to participate!! IS GOING TO BE FUN!! The card set you see here is my creation for this theme!! What do you think? yes, I used the Spanish set again, lol!!

Well today I was just monking around because my table was almost clean!! so she was almost screaming!! "I NEED STUFF ON ME" and of course I play a lil bit!! Here is the card I did! I play with my Swiss Dots embossing folder, and with some felt! and my sizzix dies and punces! the paper is from Bella Flor (Remember that this collection is just $10 while supplies last, and let me tell you is gorgeous and such a fun to play with it) and the Seminar Set, Just Dream!!
