Common kingfisher

The common kingfisher, also known as Eurasian kingfisher, is a small bird with blue and orange feathers and a long bill. It feeds mainly on fish, caught by diving. The bird has a special visual adoption that enable it to see under water. The bird migrates from areas where rivers freeze in winter.

European bee-eater

A wonderful postcard of a European bee-eater sent to me from Poland. The photo really explains the bird's name! The diet of these birds is 69%-82% bees, however they eat less than 1% of the bee population in the area. One bird can eat up to 250 bees a day.

Beautiful Tuscany

New square postcards by postallove which I simply love! I've been to Italy but haven't gone to Tuscany, I see I should have! An amazing and breathtaking view, seems a perfect place for peaceful holidays.

Po prostu zakochałam się w tych nowych kwadratowych kartkach z postallove! We Włoszech byłam, ale nie w Toskanii, chyba powinnam. Zdjęcie z kartki jest przepiękne, tak wygląda dla mnie idealne miejsce na wakacje, spokój i odpoczynek.

I really like the raspberry stamp issued by Poczta Polska, it evokes memories of my childhood and holidays when I picked raspberries straight from bushes.

Bardzo podoba mi się malinowy znaczek wydany przez Pocztę Polska, od razu przywołuje wspomnienia dzieciństwa i wakacji kiedy to zrywałam maliny prosto z krzaków.
