Pantone Color of the Year 2011: Honeysuckle

Pantone has announced the Color of the Year: Honeysuckle 18-2122. It's gonna be the 2011 most trendy color.

It's a captivating and stimulating color that we can see in most of the designer's shows for this spring/summer 2011, such as Peter Som, Valentino or Giambattista Valli.

Honeysuckle always works with the standard basics of black, navy, charcoal or light to mid gray. But using complementary bronze greens adds a new sophistication to the combination that showcases the energy of Honeysuckle. They affirm in their webpage that green tones and a pinkish brown could be really interesting with this Honeysuckle pink color.

Pantone ha anunciado ya hace unos días el color que según ellos (y muchos otros expertos) será tendencia este año, denominado como el "color of the year": el Honeysuckle 18-2122.

Un tono intenso y estimulante, que hemos podido ver sobre la pasarela de primavera/verano 2011 en varias firmas, como por ejemplo Peter Som, Valentino, Giambattista Valli o Christopher Kane. Se trata de un rosa fuerte que desde Pantone recomiendan combinar con tonos neutros y básicos (como el negro, el navy o el gris), o bien atreverse a llevarlo con tonos verdes o un sofisticado marrón rosado.

The experts of My Theresa (an online shop) said that pink is one of the trendy colors for this season, both in clothing and in accesories.

La tienda online de My Theresa lo han señalado como uno de los colores tendencia de la temporada, tanto en ropa como en accesorios.

We can also find it in make up. A very sweet shade that I personally love for lips and cheeks. Would Chanel launch a pink color for nails this S/S...?? It would be nice!

Y no sólo lo encontraremos en ropa, sino también en el maquillaje. Un tono muy dulce que, particularmente, me encanta para labios y pómulos. ¿Sacará Chanel un rosa para las uñas también? Estaría guay!!

The amazing S/S 2010 show by Esther Noriega

Last week I attended a Fashion Week that has placed in my country.

This amazing desings are from the Spring Summer 2011 collection that the Spanish designer Esther Noriega showed last Thrusday. I was luckily sat in the front-row :)

I was absolutely atonished by their elegance and beauty... every piece of this collection is breath-taking!!! isn't it?

This is such a cute and perfect Little Black Dress...!!

The colours of the collection were just red, black and white, using amazing fabrics to create glamurous and femenine gowns.

The hats and headdresses were made by Pablo y Mayaya, they are also amazing!!!

@ the Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week with my military sequin dress

Last Wednesday (22th of september) I went to Cibeles with two friends. We visited the showroom and the Cibelespacio space.

The dress I'm wearing is a beauty I found at Massimo Dutti, in military green and full of gorgeous sequins... I do love it!!

We also go to Starbucks.. twice! Frapuccino&Hot Chocolate Caramel are amazing haha

El pasado miércoles (22 de septiembre) fui a Cibeles con un par de amigas. Visitamos el showroom y el Cibelespacio.

El vestido que llevo es una preciosidad que encontré en Massimo Dutti, en verde militar y lleno de lentejuelas... me encanta!! :)

También nos pasamos por Starbucks.. dos veces! el Frapuccino y el Chocolate caliente con caramelo son mi debilidad! xD

Last Days of SummeR

Los días de verano están próximos a terminarse. Iré de nuevo a la playa, con mis amigas, el próximo fin de semana (concretamente, a Suances -vale, sí, vamos más por la fiesta que por la playa...jaja). ¡Espero que haga buen tiempo!

¿Cómo habéis pasado vosotros las vacaciones de verano? ¿Algo especial?

Summer days are close to be over. I'll go to the beach next weekend with my friends (again), I hope the weather to be nice...! We'll go to Suances, in the North of Spain, it has a vivid night life.

PhoToShoot With My Romper

Estas fotografías fueron también tomadas en San Vicente de la Barquera, esta vez en la zona de la Iglesia y el Castillo. Hay unas vistas a la ría realmente preciosas desde allí arriba.
Llevé mi mono-short de Zara en azul cielo con estampado de flores y puntilla, sandalias de tiras también de Zara, un capazo que me encanta y un mariposa que compré en el mercadillo artesanal del pueblo.
Llevo cuatro tendencias de este verano: el estampado Liberty o floral, los monos cortos, los detalles de encaje o puntillas y los capazos.



These photographs were also taken in San Vicente de la Barquera, this time in the area of the Church and the Castle. There are really beautiful views to the river here.
I was wearing my Liberty blue print romper from Zara with a little detail of lace. The sandals are also from Zara. The butterfly was bought at the craft market in town.
I'm wearing four trends of this summer: The Liberty or floral print, rompers, the details of lace and woven basket bags.

The latest purchase has been this beautiful purple orchids plant, one of my favorite flowers.
