Assalamualaikum,

Wow, it has been really a long time ago since I last wrote anything here. Not that I had no idea to write, more like I lost the urge to write anything, or to stare at the monitor for that matter. Being in front of the monitor for long hours trying my best to keep focus on the job at hand and the drawing on screen, my eyes simply couldn't bear to pass a glance anymore to this LCD screen of mine, let alone write an entry.

But today, is my birthday (officially if you based birthday dates on what is written on the I/C). Officially 28 years old, or the way I look at it, -12 years old, because people says guys only started to live when they get 40 :p. Regardless of how I perceive this incremental age numbers of mine, it has served me a warning bell, one that keep reminding me that I should get a lot of things done before the number goes up another few notches.

Among the thing, top of the list has to be get married. Insyaallah, I hope every little thing works according to plan, and this could be feasible before the next 4th of January comes along :D Being in a relationship means you are working towards a great goal, finding a soul mate whom you wish to be with for the rest of your lives, and the next. Thanks be to Allah, I think I found that someone, whom I passionately address as LadyD once in a while in this blog space. Thanks to her for accepting me despite all my shortcomings, and for tolerating my sometime 'ngada2' and 'gila2' nature :p

Next on the agenda would have to be.. seriously looking into doing my Master. I roughly had the idea of what it going to be, the only problem is putting all that into a written proposal. Given my not-so-strong engineering background, it would be a very tough ordeal. I might have to re-study all my graduate textbooks just to come out with a well-thought proposal, but I seriously think it will be very worth it. This Master thing will have to be done in three-years time frame, so that by the time I am -8 (32 for the normal people), I could give a thought of life as academicians. Somehow, I feel the urged to share what I had learn (the hard way) in this company to a bigger crowd.

Few other things would be.. setting up a company which supplies boutique laptops at affordable price to the region, set up my own racing go-cart and actually race in it,.. and probably be a Millionaire before I turn 30. But hey, these are all long term target :D All are big plans, but as always, big plans grow from ideas. Who knows maybe a sponsor would just come out of nowhere and give me the financing to turn all these into reality :p

I pray to Allah that I am given the wisdom and the willpower to achieve my goals, I pray that I am blessed with people who makes everyday of my life a little much better everyday, and I pray that we will be given Taufik and Hidayah to lead a better life as a Muslim in its true meaning. Amiin.
