Card a day

Well today is the day that my card has a spot on the card a day blog.

This little cute image comes from a very talented artist called Dustin Pike. I also used a sketch from Becky Fleck.
sketch002 hoothoot
I love making quick and simple cards.
My card measures 5”x5”
The dark brown was cut at 4.5"x4.5"
I cut a strip of light brown measuring 1.5"x5" and I used my borderpunch to give it some flair.
a thin strip of left over dp was cut at half and inch x 5"(sorry comes from my scrappile and i cant remember the name right now)
Next i printed my digi and cut it out with a spellbinder die i also cut a slightly bigger scalloped circle die in light blue.
I made a little flower embelishment with some more leftover scraps.
next i coloured my image and chalked all my edges before i glued and assembled my card.

thats it quick and simple

This is what i used to create my card:
