26 Great Nail Art Ideas - Pastel Christmas

6th manicure of the 26 Great Nail Art Idea's Challenge.

The challenge this week is Pastel Christmas.

I did this manicure a week before the last challenge here.  This was going to be Christmas Preparations, then I read that the next one was Pastel!  So I saved this for now :)

I loved how this turned out, love all the snowflake decals on the nails, so very christmassy, don't you think.

Christmas Day Red Gradient - 25 December 2015

This was my Christmas day manicure.  I did a gradient with a red and a maroon shade on the tips of my nails.  It was still too stark so I applied another coat of the red all over followed by a  coat of the glitter red by PIA on the whole nail and this is the result.  And look.... I still have the glitter pinky since 14 December.

N.B.
The glitter pinky finally gave up the ghost by the end of Christmas day!  It was peeling off, so I took it off and replaced it with LA Girl Sands of Time.

I'm not sure which red I used, either OPI Red or Elf light red. The maroon shade was Nails Inc Savile Row.

We are now on week twelve of the 52 week 40 Great Nail Art Idea's Challenge.

This week the prompt is Christmas.

What could say Christmas more than red, glitter, snowmen and santa.

I found a picture on IG, I just switched the nails a little and this is what I came up with. Loved this on, I work in Reception Class, and this kids (as well as my colleagues) loved this manicure :)

Christmas Day Nails - 28 Dec 2014

28 December 2014

Well this is the last post for 2014.  I have finally caught up with my 2014 blog posts YAY.

These nails I did for Christmas Day 2014.  Glitter, red, and snowflakes, what else says "...It's Christmas..."?

Xmas Nail Sticker - 15 Dec 2014

15 December 2014

Not sure which deep red I used here or which green for the accent nail.  But on the accent nail I used a self adhesive nail sticker.  The whole manicure came out really well and truly christmassy.

Merry Christmas Nails

Christmas nails number 6.  I wore these Christmas day and am still sporting these now!  I used Sally Hansen Pat on the Black and an LA Girl Gold.  I added some water decals from AliExpress and voila.

Christmas Side Sweep Nails

OK, Christmas nails number 4.  This were inspired by Chelsea of the nail network.  I did not get the clean curves like Chelsea but this looks pretty impressive.  Thank you Chelsea.

Gradient Christmas Nails with Decals

Christmas nails number 3.  A simple pink and silver sponge gradient with some water decals from AliExpress. The silver used is PIA number 25 and Nails Inc Oxford Circus for the pink.

Oh Christmas Tree..

OK, still on catch up!! These were my first December Christmas nails.  I used Sally Hansen Lavender Cloud for the base and for the ring finger I used China Glaze Jolly Holly.  Did some red and white stripes on the tips using acrylic paint and randomly painted some gold stripes using China Glaze Passion.
