Oggi uno sgabello... ravvivato da un celeste turchese brillante per le gambe e da una stoffa di rivestimento con le scimmiette!

Today, a footstool... remade by a bright turquoise blue for the legs and a funny upholstery with monkeys for the bench!

In inglese sedute del genere si chiamano Ottoman, per associazione con l'uso orientale, specialmente turco di questo pezzo d'arredamento.
La stoffa quindi non poteva che essere più adatta... e ironica al tempo stesso!

The English name of this kind of furniture is Ottoman, in association with the Oriental way of use, expecially in Turkish style.

The fabric chosen for it couldn't be more appropriate... and funny at the same time!

In Marocco mi davano della "berbera" per la mia capacità di contrattazione... per fare un acquisto potevo trattare a lungo sul prezzo! All'inizio era snervante... poi ci prendi la mano e diventa divertente...
Così ad Istanbul ho messo in pratica l'esperienza acquisita nel viaggio precedente...
Per avere questo favoloso lampadario ci è voluta una mattinata intera e tanto tè!
Perchè gli acquisti nel bazaar non si concludono senza un buon bicchiere di chai super zuccherato e tantissima pazienza!

In Morocco the sellers called me "Berber" for my bargaining skills... I could hangle over the price for long time to make a purchase! At the beginning it was nerve-wracking... but then you run away with the process and it becomes fun ...

So in Istanbul I put in practice the experience gained in the previous trip...
To get this fabulous chandelier, it took an entire morning and much tea!
Yes, because shopping in the bazaar does not end without a good cup of sweet chai and a lot of patient!

Però ne è valsa la pena! Ho potuto scegliere pezzo per pezzo colori e dimensioni delle bellissime lampade di vetro colorato... e mi sono riportata a casa un personalissimo chandelier...

But it was really worth it! I could choose color and size of each piece of beautiful stained glass lamps...  and I brought home a very personal chandelier...
