{Baby in Wonderland: Oscar&Lila by Irene}

Quando c'è Lei di mezzo, statene ben certe che sarà un successo e non solo di "pubblico" ma di stile, eleganza originalità.

Ho una passione per Lei e per la sua famiglia e per la sua Piccola Lei.

A volte la chiamo Pifferaio Magico a volte è la mia McGiver, datele uno spago ne ricaverà una favola da raccontare. 

Questo deve aver pensato Patricia di Oscar et Lila quando l'ha contattata per fotografare i suoi pom pom.  Oscar et Lila non poteva assolutamente mancare nel mio Baby in Wonderland.

Patricia conosce il mondo dei bambini avendo lavorato e collaborato con diversi brand del mondo infantile. Nel 2008 ha aperto Oscar et Lila,  realizzando decorazioni per bambini, tutto  made in France.

I protagonisti di queste immagini (che avete già visto sul suo blog) sono i pom pom di tulle, gli abiti di Bonpoint e la sua Bea, senza la quale queste immagini non avrebbero quel je ne sais quoi

{ Anniversary Party - The Show }

The party started at 7.30, while all the guest arrived all the food and the drinks were set on the tables.

The little light hanged to the three around the garden and the candle in the jars were lighten.

The music, accurately chosen, the voices and the laughs resound in the air.

Slowly the dark came down...

La festa è iniziata alle 7.30, mentre gli ospiti arrivavano il cibo veniva sistemato sui tavoloni.

Le lucine appese agli alberi che circondano il giardino e le candele nei vasetti venivano accese.

La musica, scelta accuratamente, le voci e le risate riecheggiavano nell'aria.

Lentamente il buio scendeva...

Irene called "Chez nous le Cirque" to entertain all the kids (but all the adults liked it a lot too)

Irene ha chiamato "Chez nous le Cirque" per intrattenere tutti i bambini (ma anche tutti gli adulti hanno apprezzato tantissimo!)

We sat on the ground while Rufus the clown started to tell an history 

Ci siamo seduti per terra mentre Rufus, il clown, iniziava a raccontare un storia...

Eyes wide open with emotion...

Occhi spalancati dall'emozione...

lots of assistant ... but he didn't choose me...

Tanti assistenti... ma non mi ha scelta...

The juggler made some tricks that left us breathless and the show ended with him eating the fire...

 

... but more emotions had to come ...

 directly from Bologna, Alessandra arrived with the wedding cake that she made!

A lemon curd wedding cake, decorated with rosemary and chamomile lowers.

Divine!

ma le emozioni non erano finite!

Direttamente da Bologna, Alessandra è arrivata con la torta che aveva preparato!

Una torta di tre piani al lemon curd , decorata con rosmarino e fiori di camomilla.

Then it was the time to express a desire...and let the lanterns fly!

Poi è giunto il momento di esprimere un desiderio e far volare le lanterne!

Last saturday Bon Bon Studio (me Alessandra and Federica... Laura we've missed you) had his first wedding in Tuscany... 

It was a success, Caty & Seb were beautiful and terribly happy!

Lo scorso sabato bon Bon Studio (io, Alessandra e Federica ... Laura ci sei mancata) ha avuto il suo primo matrimonio in Toscana...

It was their day.

They were excited and happy to share it with all the old friends

They kissed and hug everybody showing real happiness

They run all the evening paying attention to all the guests

It was like the party was for the friends and not for them, because they are like this...  The others first ...

Era il loro giorno

Erano eccitati e felici di condividerlo con i cari vecchi amici

Hanno baciato e abbracciato tutti mostrando la vera felicità.

Hanno corso tutta la sera per fare stare bene i loro ospiti.

era come se la festa fosse per gli amici e non per loro, perchè loro sono così... Prima vengono gli altri...

They are normal and real but they know how to welcome people.

It's their job but they have the natural instinct to make feel comfortable everyone.

Mr B. is not a socialite and he's very shy but they knew how to treat him and he likes to visit them.

Sono normali e reali ma sanno come accogliere le persone.

E' vero che è il loro lavoro, avendo un B&B, ma hanno proprio l'istinto naturale per far sentire a proprio agio chiunque.

Mr B non è particolarmente socievole con chi non conosce, ma loro hanno saputo toccare le corde giuste e a lui piace quando si tratta di andare a trovarli.

19 years together living like it's the first day everyday...

The met at the elementary school.

They become a couple one starry night while in mountain at the school camp...

Si sono conosciuti alle elementari.

Si sono messi insieme una sera stellata durante un campo scuola al rifugio delle tre cime di Lavaredo.

Then Bea arrived

{ Anniversary Party - Decorations }

It's time to show the decorations for the party!

I've used two old books to make all the decorations. Garland, banners, pinwheels, bubble soaps, butterflies, hearts and little birds.

I've made also banners with burlap, linen and tile de jouy fabrics.

Irene thought to the rest... She prepared bottles with flowers and jars for the candles. The garden was invaded by all those little bottles. She also hang up the curtains to the three... Isn't a great unusual idea! Everything was perfect!

E' arrivato il momento di mostrarvi le decorazioni della festa.

Ho usato due vecchi libri per fare tutte le decorazioni. Ghirlande, bandierine, girandole, bolle di sapone, farfalle, cuori, e piccoli uccellini.

Ho realizzato le bandierine con la canapa, il lino ed un tessuto in Toile de jouy.

Irene ha pensato al resto... Aveva preparato delle bottigliette con i fiori e piccoli vasetti della marmellata per le candele. Il giardino era totalmete invaso da tutte le sue bottigliette. Ha appeso le tende agli alberi... non è un 'idea magnifica ed unica?

Tutto era perfetto!

I've used also white and brown cupcake papers to create simple garlands. 

Ho pensato di usare anche i pirottini che di solito uso per fare i cupcakes, bianhi e marroni. Una ghirlanda semplice da realizzare ma di grande effetto.

Good morning!

Today I'm happy, I can tell you!

I'm a moody person, nostalgic, gloomy but when I'm happy...oh god, I'm really Happy!

 I'm happy because last week has been a great week.

I contributed to the happiness of Paolo&Irene. You know already everything about my friendship (and more!) with them , the love for Bea and their amazing families.

What made me happy? 

Irene's joy for every single decor I've made for their party (here&here).

Her yelps when we finished to decor the garden

The fact that she trusted me unconditionally.

She asked me advises for everything.

I was helpful

Buon giorno!

Oggi sono felice, lo posso dire!

Sono lunatica, nostalgica, malinconica ma quando sono felice ... sono davvero felice!

Sono felice perchè la scorsa settimana è stata una settimana indimenticabile.

Ho contribuito alla felicità di Paolo& Irene.  

Sapete tutto della mia amicizia (e molto di più!) con loro, l'amore per Bea e le loro famiglie.

Cosa mi ha resa felice?

La gioia di Irene per ogni singola cosa che ho fatto per la loro festa.

I suoi gridolini quando abbiamo finito di allestire il giardino

Il fatto che si è fidata di me incondizionatamente

Mi chiedeva consigli per tutti

Ero utile (ho la sindrome della crocerossina!)

il blog è l'angolo di svago per evadere dai pensieri

c'è chi va al bar

chi a correre

io scrivo il mio blog e mi ritrovo a parlare con le mie amiche

scrivere è una parte fondamentale della mia vita

il mio babbo era una grande giornalista

e mi ha lasciato questa passione

sarò presuntuosa

prima di giudicare dal fuori chi come noi scrive di fiocchi, paillette, case, vestiti

fermati a pensare...

e si a volte la leggerezza è bellissima.

{Cosy details - part 2}

Few weeks ago, I've spent an entire day with Irene and her family. You can read here (More than a lunch - Part 1) how beautiful and intense that day has been!

This is the 2 part of that day....

After  lunch we went to Valdirose her beautiful Bed & Breakfast. A charming old villa that used to be her house when she was young. In 2007 the house has been totally renovated by her father and transformed in a charming Bed & Breakfast.

Actually it's very reductive calling it B&B. Do you know the "Chambre D'Hotes"? Well, they are charming villas all over France where you can rent a room and eat amazing food! 

Valdirose has nothing to envy to those "Chambre d'Hotes". Irene, Paolo, her husband and Irene's parents run this beautiful place with passion and love. Love that you can feel all over the house and the garden in every single details. 

Irene it's "obsessed" from details and that's one of the thing we have in common!

I couldn't take any pic of the cosy rooms...They were all occupied. A pity for me but a joy for them!!!

Valdirose has a fantastic veranda where you can enjoy a good breakfast with homemade products!

Irene and Paolo serve breakfast every morning! They made all the efforts to make their guests happy and they try always to satisfy their requests!

In the kitchen beautiful porcelaine...

They have a cute wood stove just outside the house were they prepare Pizza every Saturdy for their guest!

They have an outdoor swimming pool too...

Just in front at Valdirose ther's her parent's home!

We spent few hours there talking about some renovation Irene wanted to do to the rooms and playing with Beatrice! I love her! She 's a fantastic girl! I'd love to show you some pics... I'll have to ask to her mom first!

That's enough for now! I could go on and on talking about it but I'm sure there will be soon another occasion to show you some good pics from Valdirose!
