"Making Change" is The Wooden Nickel Band's debut album. The band came together in its current form in June of 2007. At that time songwriter and front man Charlie, along with bass player Steve and drummer Dan, had been working together for a short while. They brought in Bill B. (vocals, harmonica and percussion) and Bill H. (lead guitar) to complete the Wooden Nickel sound. Since then we've played to appreciative audiences all over the Sacramento and northern California area. We feel we have a unique sound that blends a lot of genres (folk rock, rockabilly, country, soul, etc.) We’ve become very good friends and really enjoy creating music together. We're currently working up some new songs, and hope to have a second album out someday. Thanks for listening to The Wooden Nickel Band!
