The Band Benefield's Debut release "My Last Name" is full of songs born from real life situations which meld the band's classic rock, southern rock, country and blues influences into their own unique style that you are sure to enjoy. The songs are written about a range of things, from the struggle to make it in the music business, to partying by the pool. But a big part of this album is about pride, pride in what you do, pride in your country, and mostly pride in who you are and in your heritage. Take the time and give this one a listen, you won't be dissapointed.

DUSTIN LEE BENEFIELD As a third generation musician, here's a guy that lives for the moment he gets to step on a stage and entertain. With a viewpoint that there are no limits to what you can and can't do in music and entertainment, and an "I will win" attitude, you'll understand exactly what you're getting when this guys got a mic in front of him. He's the everyday workhorse that keeps the guys runnin' the roads and the man that will do whatever it takes to make sure you won't ever forget The Band Benefield.
NEIL YEARTA It's been told that when Neil Yearta walks into a room, a ZZ Top song will start playing and everything starts moving in slow motion. "Yertaw" has a striking resemblence to "the dude" from The Big Lebowski, and can make a room rattle with his low end bass playin'... The fact that he has 30 years of sound and production experience is just icing on the cake to what this "dude" brings to the table. He's a biker, a Bud Light drinker, and the man when it comes to all things involving sound.
GRANT LONG This is the one that keeps The Band Benefield whipped into shape. There's no slacking when Mr. Long is on the kit. He runs 6 miles, rides his bike 18 miles, and walks his dog 3 miles... EVERYDAY! He's got 30+ years of drumming experience. He owns 5 drum kits. He don't drink. He don't smoke. But he WILL tell you how much he loves your mama! Grant Long is a pro.
TED HENNINGTON Here's a guy that can, flat out, tear up a guitar. The Mississippi native grew up in a family full of professional musicians, and by the time he could barely hold a guitar, he was playing live shows and recording. He can play it all. From blues, to rock, to country, to get up, to get down boogie woogie! There's something to be said for a guy who works as hard at their craft as Mr. Hennington does... And there's also something to be said for a fella that won't eat spaghetti wth green stuff in it. But that's another story for another day.
BARRY ROLLINS Straight from the top of Black Jack Mountain in the hills of West Georgia comes the part time playin', full time number slangin' "Master Piani" Barry Rollins. You won't see him at every show The Band Benefield plays, but you will see him at some. He'll lay it to the keys every time he's rockin' with the "long hairs" of TBB, and leave you feelin' fuzzy on the inside.
