The Challenge #47 {An Inspiration Challenge}

Hello and welcome to The Challenge! Each week we have a fun challenge for you to try! This week we have an Inspiration Challenge! Halloween is less than two weeks away! Eek! I wanted to make a card with my Jane's Doodles "Autumn Blessings" stamp set from SRM Press. I inked the middle pumpkin on a post it note and then fussy cut it to make a mask. Then I stamped the middle pumpkin, and covered with the post it note "mask". Then I stamped the other two pumpkins on either side. Taking out some distress inks, I watercoloured the three pumpkins and added a wash of blue distress ink to the background. The sentiment is a sticker and the washi tape below finished off my card. I was inspired by all the patterns in the Inspiration photo! I used the fun sketch at Splitcoast Stampers.

VLV Sketch #4 {Hello Lovely}

Hello stamping friends! Hooray for the weekend! I am working on my laundry pile as always and getting some work done too. Teachers always seem to be working on weekends! Occupational hazard I guess! But I love my profession and I am so excited about this school year. Everything has been going swimmingly!

This morning I decided to whip up a quick and easy card for the Week 4 of the Viva la Verve sketch challenge. It is SUCH a great sketch! I kept my card monochromatic and somewhat neutral. I wanted it to look classic and elegant. I stamped the floral image from Altenew's Hennah Elements Stamp set in black ink onto watercolour paper and did not colour it! I was going to watercolour it but I liked how it looked. (Hope you do too!) I paired it with the sentiment from the SRM Hello Big Sentiment Set.

Merry Monday #171 {Believe}

Well I am excited to announce that I have joined the Merry Monday team again after a long hiatus! I am excited to use all of my Christmas papers and stamps! I seem to have thousands of them! Haha! This week we are looking for the sentiment to by the main focus! I decided to use a brand new stamp for the sentiment from SRM press called Big Merry and the trees are from Stampin' Up. I was inspired by the tree image in the challenge graphic! Hope you will join us!
