Recuerdos en Blue & Copper

Keeping my loved ones close to heart - Manteniendo a mis seres queridos cerca del corazon

With one of my favourite blouses - The Sea Treasure are also a great match for this necklace.

A long necklace with history. This necklace has a little bit of something...the big glass heart pendant came from The British Heart Foundation; the charity I volunteer for since last year. The copper lockets came from a recycled bracelet - I added some tiny pictures from my gorgeous husbby and my beloved cat Hot Paws. The chain was also recycled from another necklace. The teal faceted beads were part of a magazine prize. Finally the crystals, copper head pins, jump rings and beads caps came from my bead stash
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

A little bit of this and a little bit of that = Rose Cameo

This necklace is the result of bringing together some new things like beads fresh water pearls and glass ones, some treasured ones like chain and beads from my 14KGF jewellery collection, some found ones  like the rose buttons I found in a bag of buttons I bought from a charity shop, some bought ones like the rose cameo in the middle which is actually an earring I turned into a pendant; and the heart toggle clasp, some given ones like the crystals, and some wire wrapping techniques to embellish and link each item to make them part of a harmonious and gorgeous piece of jewellery. This is one of my favorite necklaces because it has a little bit of everything and it's so trendy yet kind of vintage/bohemian.
Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely Sunday!

Roses are red

It all started like this...
Perfect match for an oversize jumper

A long necklace made with assorted pearls, glass beads, donut crystals and charms that I bought in department stores, charity shops and bead shops. I also used bead caps, gold-plated head pins that I wire wrapped and long gold-plated chain too.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great Friday!
