I've finished embellishing this notebooks & memo pads yesterday. When I bought them; they were plain and a little flimsy so I glued some thick card stock to them before embellishing the covers and backs. Most of the things I used like die-cuts and  patterned papers came from left overs from previous projects or recycled packaging, cards and wallpaper.  I even used some pages from a fancy clothes and accessories catalogue. I also used stickers and stickles to highlight some of the flowers. Now they're ready to go on each of my handbags.

He terminado de decorar estos cuadernitos y libretas ayer. Cuando los compré eran sencillos y endebles asi que les pegé un cartón grueso as la cubiertas antes de adornarlos. La mayoria de cosas que usé para adornarlos como los papeles y figuras precortadas provinieron de sobrantes de proyectos anteriores, o empaque, tarjetas y papel mural reciclado. Inclusive usé unas páginas de un catalogo lujoso de ropa y accesorios. También usé escarcha engomada para  resaltar las flores. Ahora están listos para ponerlos en mis bolsos.

Left over paper from other projects and scraps can really go a long way if you combine them to create an attractive background. This card is a proof of that since I used plenty of small paper scraps as well as some nice packaging that I recycled to create lots of layers for my main embellishment. I made the bauble look more 3D using paper glaze but accent the snowflakes with gold glitter before that . I also added a few beads on the right hand side.

Los sobrantes de papel de otros proyectos y recortes pueden durar bastante si los combinas para crear un fondo atractivo. Esta tarjeta lo demuestra ya que use varios pedacitos de papel asi como empaque llamativo que reciclé para crear varias capas para mi adornito principal.  Hice que la bolita navideña se vea mas 3D usando esmalte para papel pero le puse escarcha dorada las hojuelas antes. Tambien le coloqué una cuentas al lado derecho.

One of the many Christmas cards I've made recently. I recycled a few things for this one like the greeting and background tree. I also used label and dome stickers, circle punch, peel offs, cardstock and scallop card.
