magnolia tilda with lace hearts sketch by Sam

Hi there! thanks for stopping by.  Well it is a wet miserable cold day here in (sunny) Queensland so what a perfect day to stay inside and make a card!! (although I dont really need weather as an excuse haha!!)  I have followed a sketch by Sam over at Sunday Sketch and Stamp.  I have used the lovely magnolia stamp "Tilda with lace Hearts" and coloured her with copics... you can get magnolia stamps and products here.  The sentiment and flower frame stamp are from sets of clear inkadinkado stamps. The lovely brads and rose are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The pearl brads were originally white and I coloured them with copics to match my colour theme...I love that I can do this with copics.  The darling little dragonfly is cut using Cheery Lynn's dimensional dragonfly die...you can get them  here plus tons of other awesome stuff!  The beautiful paper is from a Prima pad called Fairy Belle (designed by Jodie Lee) I got this, the tiny pearls (which I have coloured as well) the organza ribbon and the yellow daisy (folded in half) from my LSS Arnolds.  I have, of course, splashed some stickles around LOL!

I would like to enter into the following challenges:
Sunday Sketch and Stamp: sketch by Sam
Cheery Lynn Challenge: Wedding / Anniversary
Papertake Weekly Challenge:  Bingo- Ribbon, Free, Blooms

thanks for stopping by, Stay safe XOX Tania

LOVE YOU VALENTINES SIDE STEP CARDS

Good evening and thanks for visiting my blog. I have done a couple of valentines cards using a side step card. I do mine a little different to others- basically because I dont know the right measurements and I can make two of these cards out of one A4 sheet of cardstock. I have added a picture of a side view and you can see what I mean....its not a big issue for me as my steps do not hold a lot of weight and I get a deep front step so I can put a nice big sentiment there. I love this paper from Little Yellow Bicycle named Sweet Stripes. It has a beautiful glimmer to it so you dont really need to dress it up much. The forever friends sticker and sentiment were freebies on the front of a Do-Crafts magazine last year. I punched the hearts out using a creative memories punch and have embossed the letters using an Inkadinkado set called Curly Q alphabet. I used versa mark stamp pad and "mostly Mink" colour embossing powder by Alison Ellis Design. Hope you like it :0) XOX Tania

PENNY BLACK CARD FOR DAD

Hello! Well it has been some time since I have posted a card- I have been busy doing other stuff...and unfortunately, I have to get back to reality on thursday- that is my holidays are finished and I am back to work YUK! I could handle doing crafts every day :0) anyways, today I have done one for my hubbys birthday coming up in April.  I am going to enter this one in the Penny Black Saturday Challenge themed boys card.  Mojo Monday also has a great sketch which I am entering too. Lastly Simon Says Stamp has a Make your own embellishment challenge...not sure if the pop up in the center could be classed as an embelishment, but hand made flowers and my husband just dont go together LOL!!!! The image is of course Penny Black- "fly away" coloured a while ago just waiting for my inspiration to kick in! "Daddy" is from an inkadinkadoo set "baby girl"...the stamp was originally "Daddy's Little Girl" but I have taped the rest of the stamp- I'll show you how I do that- I'm sure there's an easier way, but this is how I do it :0) "wishes" inside is another stamp I have tapped from Stampin Up "warmest wishes". I have used martha stewart embossed zig zag edge punch. Hope you like it! Thanks for dropping by xox Tania xox

Christmas cards

The top card: The gingerbread houses are cut from paper by 3 bugs in a rug- "gingerbread"....spellbinders scalloped circle cutter; cuttlebug's swiss dots embossing; the santa sleigh I am not sure of the brand as I borrowed it from a friend;  and the sentiment is from Penny black "a wonderful Christmas"

the bottom card is hard one: This was my first attempt at an easle card and wanted to try something a bit different with embossing (it has been years since I embossed anything!!)  the image is embossed in copper powder, with a Hero Arts stamp called "Cling Starry night".  Again Penny Black sentiment "a wonderful christmas" has been used, and "peace" from the inkadinkadoo warm holiday wishes set.
