SUMMER BLUES... A NECKLACE

A simple, minimal necklace... Handmade ceramic beads (or Egyptian paste -- not sure, these beads are vintage finds) and cord, closed with a wooden bead.

STILL SUMMER!

To tell you the truth, I love wearing bright, colorful, bold jewelry all year long... it's summer for me all year long -- jewelry-wise, at least! :) But in the summer it's even more fun, as colors really pop in the sun!

PS: No, this is not my evil eye collection... be patient and stay tuned! :)

STILL SUMMER!

To tell you the truth, I love wearing bright, colorful, bold jewelry all year long... it's summer for me all year long -- jewelry-wise, at least! :) But in the summer it's even more fun, as colors really pop in the sun! I love all shades of blue, and especially all the bright Greek blues!

This is what I wore yesterday... all in blue glass (and wood for the earrings)!

Thank you Etsy Lush! :)

And at the same time my Mediterraneo 1 has been featured in the "Etsy Finds"!

QUEEN OF THE ISLANDS

This is my new handpainted necklace!

Inspired by the rich blues of the Aegean Sea and Sky...

I used 12 mini wooden tiles (each of them is about 14 x 11 mm) in a rich brown-reddish wood. I painted each one of them in a mix of blues, followed by two generous coats of varnish. Little wooden beads in teal complete this sea-inspired necklace that's sure to make a girl feel a Queen of the Islands all year long. Soon in my Etsy shop!
