Three good books...

At least some of you know my favorite book genre is
biography/autobiography. My sisters gifted me three
terrific volumes for Christmas this year.

Linda Ronstadt's book is not only a beautiful memoir but
includes history, Sonoran recipes and spectacular photos.

Elizabeth Taylor was not only a beautiful and talented actress
but also an outspoken humanitarian.

Last but certainly not least...an Ohio boy who made it good.
Another amazing actor and a philanthropist, Paul Newman
did pretty much everything he wanted to do.
(oh, those blue eyes...)

All three are very well done. Reading them is time well spent.

Could be worse...

Akron -4, with windchill -25.
BUT...the sun is shining!

By the weekend, we are told by the weather wizards,
the world will be melting because the temps will be
close to 50. Holy Shit. and Yay.

In the meantime, I just keep reading.

I recently started a book on the history of pirates:

A christmas present from my sister, Ann.

Stay warm, my friends.
