The point is that comparing to their earlier songs, the band decided to follow a musical path reminding Eluveitie a lot, loosing by that way, their unique identity. It is a solid, catchy album, with clean vocals inserted and with their older compositions shining.

8th album by Korpiklaani. Lyrically, the album deals with the underworld (Manala) and as a result, the sound of the album is a bit darker than on their previous records. The first half of the record is what we would expect from the band, thrashy, riff-filled, accordion-laced, polka tunes guaranteed. The second half changes the mood significantly and the songs that follow are a bit darker and gloomier than previous material from the band.
