Debut album by the one-man band Pagan Heritage. There's certainly nothing forward thinking about this album, it's completely set in the past, paying homage to bands like Darkthrone or Burzum. The whole album is actually quite melodic, with some doom or even epic moments thrown in. Raw black metal with rough production and vocals that are something between a whisper and a rasp, giving the overall mood a ghostly, haunting feel.

10th album by Cradle Of Filth. The band's general approach throughout the album is sturdy, straight-forwardly aggressive and more riff-based than they’ve been in quite some time. It is distinctly a Cradle of Filth album, with vocalist Dani Filth once again presenting his incredible vocal range in prime form. The band has stripped it's sound back to guitar-heavy blackened metal, with symphonic touches added where necessary.
