S'more Love at Christmas
I was inspired to pull out an old set from The Greetery called S'more Holiday when I saw this photo for the {PIN}spirational Challenge. I stuck with my goal to create at least 2 or 3 of the same design so I can get my Christmas card stash completed. I'm nearing the end with that last count at 50.
I CASEd a card by Kay Miller and changed up the background stenciling and used different foliage dies.

Just Add Ink Challenge
Good Monday morning! It's a crisp morning with my craft room calling my name. I'm playing along with the Just Add Ink Challenge where we are to choose two or more items from their list. I chose plaid, plants and patterned paper.
I dusted off an old stamp & die set called Bountiful Wreath from The Greetery to create this fall/Thanksgiving greeting.

Buckeye Leaf
There's a great new challenge on the Inspired By challenge blog with a theme of panels. My leftover pile came to the rescue with the strips over acetate panel and the water colored background already made ages ago! I placed foam tape behind the strips to make them seem they are floating. The leaf was die cut and also popped up with foam tape. Easy peasy!

Color Throwdown #842
Red, orange and green are the colors for the new Color Throwdown challenge. I thought it was high time I dusted off the Oopsie Daisy stamp & die set along with the Just Mason Around set from The Greetery. This gives a country cottage feeling so I wanted to add some red gingham paper for part of the background.

Tic-Tac-Toe
The Paper Players Challenge is all about a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge. I chose the top horizontal row with celebration, flowers and stencil. The stenciling is very subtle and only involves the ribbon frame. It's a pretty clean and simple design with patterned floral paper used for the negative space of the frame. Some moonshine sequins embellish the design.
STAMPS: Birthday Your Way 2 (Papertrey Ink).
INK: Hawaiian Shores, Raspberry Fizz (PTI).
PAPER: Stamper's Select White, Aqua Mist (PTI); Cute & Crafty 6x6 pad (Doodlebug Design Inc).
DIES: Ribbon Frame (The Greetery); Birthday Your Way 2 (PTI).
OTHER: Ribbon Frame stencil; Moonshine sequins.
Time for some college football games! Thanks for stopping by! ~Wanda

Cupcake Inspiration
Hello friends! The new challenge for the Cupcake Inspiration challenge is to use pastel colors. I really love the soft peach, yellow and sage that these cupcakes represent! I went with an old favorite group of products from The Greetery for a thank you card.
For added dimension, I adhered two of the die cut sentiments together then I popped up the floral frame with foam tape.

Happy 15th birthday to the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! A simple card using the Ribbon Frame die and stencil set paired with Written in Ribbons stamp/die set from The Greetery.
Background was splattered with Pink Raspberry distress ink and the frame was cut from Cute & Crafty 6x6 patterned paper pad by Doodlebug Design Inc.
That's a wrap for today! Thanks for stopping by... ~Wanda

Tic Tac Toe Challenge
I've been wanting to CASE a beautiful card sent to me by a fellow stamper from Texas (Susie Moore), so the new Tic Tac Toe challenge was the perfect motivation to create this card. I used the far left vertical row of friendship, any color and any shape die. I loved Susie's concept of popping up a frame over the pierced stitching background. I double cut the sentiment die to make it sturdier and more dimensional.
The Greetery has a list of supplies they will be retiring soon and when they are gone...they are gone! The Print Shop: Floral Frame is one of those items. Here's what I used:

Dragonfly Birthday
A leisurely Sunday afternoon led to this card for two challenges. The Paper Players have a tic-tac-toe challenge this week and I went with the middle vertical row of something that flies, die cut and layers. I was also inspired by the colors for the Sunday Stamps challenge.
I started by stenciling a tartan plaid background. I then layered a rick rack frame and a diamond die shape.
That's a wrap for now. Have a great week! ~Wanda

Inspired By Challenge
There is a fun new photo for the Inspired By challenge! I was inspired to use the rainbow colors and the vertical elements of the freezie pops which led me to feature these candle dies from The Greetery. I must confess that these candles wanted to give me some grief when I was lining up the various stencils. I had several re-dos - haha!

Just Us Girls
Always love playing along with the Just Us Girls challenge and this week, it's CASE a DT Week. I chose Carol McFarland's card which has an envelope/hearts/flowers postage theme. I also used her embossed background idea.
I used the 3D Eyelet Lace embossing folder by Honey Bee and also cut the scalloped edge with the coordinating die. Then it was time to fill up the envelope with goodies from The Greetery and I topped it off with my new fave waxed seal die set from Waffle Flower.
Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting! ~Wanda

Steeped with Love
It's a beautiful Saturday and I'm whipping out a card for a couple of challenges while waiting on a FedEx delivery and also waiting for temps to warm up. First is the Inspired By challenge which has a drink theme. I went with a teacup representing the "drink" and also used the sketch by creating a panel of strips over acetate (that accounts for the weird glare in the photos).
Second challenge is for Tic Tac Toe where I went with the top horizontal row with food/beverage, die cuts and soft colors. I also got to break in the new Finishing Touches die set by Kristina Werner that gives a variety of options for stitched details. There's a small amount of stenciling on the tea cup and don't you love that wee sentiment on the tag of the tea bag?
