Nail Art Stamping Plate M21 + SpaRitual Can You Dig It?

Evening Everyone

Hope you all had a great weekend. Today I have for you a mani I created using the Nail Art Stamping plate M21. I'm usually horrendous at nail art but I do love the effect you get when it's done properly. I hadn't heard of this range of plates before, so when I was contacted by Online Nail Bar and asked to review one of their products, of course I agreed!

PLATE M21

This is two coats of SpaRitual - Can You Dig It? a lovely chocolate/plum polish with coppery golden shimmer. I used Barry M Gold Foil for the stamping. I decided to try the butterfly stamp although I was so tempted to go for the splat print and do an Art Attack theme but then I realised I didn't have the skill to pull it off :-) I also used one of the flower designs on my pinky finger.

I had no issues using the Nail Art Stamping plate, and even with my poopy nail art skills I've managed a half decent mani. I've had a look on the Online Nail Bar site, and they do a bundle pack of 10 plates for £10.00 (that's £1 each!) with one Konad plate selling on Amazon UK for £5.45 your getting pretty good value for money. So a good addition to my plate collection.

For further information and and access to more Nail Art Stamping plates you can click here. Online Nail Bar  also ships internationally.

Have any of you tried this stamping brand? Any thoughts?

New Barry M - Lilac Foil Effect

Hi ya all

Well its Monday again! Boo!! Although the holidays are creeping closer. Today I have for you Barry M's most recent addition to their Foil Effects range - Lilac.

This is 3 coats of Lilac. Application was slightly streaky as with the other foils, although slightly better than the Silver and Gold Foil. I tried a little stamping for you using a random Bundle Monster plate over Me Me Me -Wild. The stamp didn't come out great because I'm poop at stamping, although it does show you how well Barry M's Lilac stamps (which isn't too bad).

I actually quite liked this combo, quite feminine looking considering how 'un-girly' my tastes usually are. Available exclusively from Superdrugs for £3.99 for a limited time only.

Have you tried any of the Barry M Foils? Anyone yet found the Croc Effects?

Illamasqua Scarab + Barry M Instant Nail Effect Gold Foil

Afternoon all

Hope you've had a spectacular weekend! Today I have my attempt at a Halloween mani. It was also a good opportunity to try out Barry M's new Instant Nail Effects Gold Foil. First I needed a vampy nail colour base. Hello Illamasqua - Scarab.

Then I used a Bundle Monster plate with the Barry M Gold Foil. The cobwebs were a little tricky, with some of the design not transferring properly.

Scarab is gorgeous! 2 coats here. It's the only Illamasqua polish I own. Got that gorgeous glowy effect that I love. Got it off Ebay for about £6.00. The Gold Foil stamps okay, better than Gosh Gold. I thought It was going to be rubbish, as the reviews haven't been positive. I haven't yet tried the Silver Foil, but might give it a go soon.

Barry M Instant Nail Effects is available at Boots and Superdrugs for £3.99. Superdrugs are currently running a 3 for 2 mix and match here.
Enjoy your Halloween!

All About ME ME ME

Hi everyone

Here I have for you two polishes from Me Me Me Cosmetics Classic Collection. These polishes come in a really cute bottles decorated with a little cherub. Application brush is slightly on the chunky side, but workable. I really like the names of these polishes and the fact that each have 'Their own story'.

The first polish I used was Proud, a dark murky/khaki green which looks very dark on the nail under artificial light, while brownish green in natural light. It's a lovely creme colour which applies opaque in two coats. Very glossy. The second polish, Patient, was a strange colour. It appeared in the bottle as a light beige with a green tone, but applied on the nail as a grey (strange) but still lovely.

Proud -83

Patient - 79

I used Patient with Bundle Monster's BM-204 nail stamping plate. Although this polish stamped ok, I don't think it was opaque enough and the colour was lost when stamped. Despite this the mani still looked quite pretty.

I will definitely be purchasing more Me Me Me polishes in the future. There are a few creme colours I have my eye on. Me Me Me's online store is currently running a 3 for 2 promotion on their polishes priced at £4.50 each. Bonus They do ship internationally. The range is also available at some selected Superdrugs stores.
