Laurie Anna"s Vintage Home

I have fallen in love with this birdhouse! I found it online at Laurie Anna's Vintage Home. She has the most wonderful shop in Canton Tx! This weekend, I will get up at 3am and drive to her shop to ooh and ahh over all the fabulous finds. I soooo hope this unique find will be in my budget, I have just the right place for it! Love at first sight!

Best Birthday Ever!

Yesterday was my birthday! I had such a great time. All of the kids came over, we had a cookout, went swimiing, sit around and enjoyed each others company. My cake was awesome! Thanks to the Bakerman! He is sooo booked up with weddings, but cranked out a delish cake! Many thanks to my daughter Jennifer for getting it.

Chillin and Grillin

Hi Everyone, hope you are having a great weekend so far. I spent most of yesterday cleaning house, unpacking more boxes and trying to make everything pretty. Today I resolve to rest! We are going to enjoy the pool and grill some burgers for lunch. I am enjoying the new house so much. It is very peaceful here and wonderful to come home from a hectic day and hop in the pool for a little unwinding time! I know we have been far more active since the move. It seems that we never sit in front of the TV anymore(which is a good thing) and all of our time is spent enjoying the backyard. It has been several years since I have lived in a home with such a great space to enjoy. I am loving every minute of it.

Hubbys house will soon be on the market for sale after the painters finish with it. He has so many plans for the house here, so he cant wait for it to sell!

Cute Find!

I was browsing the other day at Pier One and found the cutest juice glasses! One has a rooster design and the other a cherry. I couldnt decide which I like the best, so decided to mix them and bought 2 of each design. Since then I have found that we are using them alot, so I am planning on making another trip to buy a few more. What do you think? I am just in love with them. Hope you have a great weekend!
