Holographic Party: Color Club Halo Hues Picks

Hi guys! So When I saw the Color Club Halo Hues collection was coming out, i was amazed at how amazing these polishes looked! They have the holographic quality of China Glaze OMG, Nfu Oh, old OPI DS polishes and many other amazing brands. I only picked up two, because I own sooo many holos ahaand these aren't particularly cheap

This one is Angel Kiss which is a light sea-foam green.
This was three thin coats.

Now, I also got Blue Haven and when they arrived I was suprised how similar these two are.
Maybe because I swatched them one after another, but they look the same to me, especially in the sun.

Subtle Shredded Manicure

Hi guys! Today I wanted to create a beautiful shredded manicure but it didn''t turn out as well as I hoped. Unfortunately the colours I chose weren't contrasting enough to make a big impact but I still think it's pretty none the less.
For this manicure I used a base of Color Clubs Take Me To Your Chateu and then Blue-ming for the shredded part. To create this look all you need is tape and scissors :)

No I don't Have A Really Bad Fake Tan.
I Had to adjust my camera settings to accentuate the shredded manicure contrast.

Sugarpill Burning Heart Palette: Swatches, Eye Look & Watermarble Inspired By.

Hi guys, This will be a fairly long post today showcasing my Sugar Pill Burning Heart Palette!
One of my bestfriends and I were going clubbing for the night so I decided to really go all out with my eyeshadows and Sugarpill Burning Heart was just the way to do it!

I only wear lashes on the outer halves of my eyes because it's the only way they ever last.
I swear they didn't look as crap in real life lol

Purple & Aqua Gradient Manicure

Hi guys, today I was playing with some makeup and did an aqua and purple makeup look and thought I'd do something along that theme on my nails!
I did a gradient using Color Clubs BlueMing and Disco Dress (which is purple despite how it looks in these photos!)

Color Club Disco Dress

Hi guys!
As I mentioned in my last post, I've been away travelling, but I got back last night and thought I'd show you the polish I wore while I was away.
This is Color Club Disco Dress. I absolutely ADORE this polish! It is a dark purple that is very bright, yes an oxymoron deal with it. It's like a dark neon, it dries to a semi matte finish.
I found this incredibly hard to photograph as they all turned out looking too blue!
If you google this polish all other swatches are too blue as well :(
This french post is the most colour accurate, but it looks a little tooo dark in her photos.

Here's my swatches anyway, but I highly recomend this polish!

A-England Lady of The Lake: Swatch & Comparison

Hi guys, so the sun finally came out today!! So I'm going to show you A-Englands Lady of The Lake!
Lady of the lake is a blue toned purple with a sight dustyness to it with a subtle holographic effect!

And in the shade.

I also decided to do a comparison shot for you guys!

On the Left is Nubar Treasure, Middle A-England Lady of The Lake, Right Color Club Wild At Heart

To me, the closest is Color Club Wild At Heart. I'm torn between which I prefer, the Color Club is much more holo and has this sort of inner glow I find really beautiful, it is also a lot more opaque than the A-England. However, The A-England's dustyness and cooler tones make it much more flattering on my skintone.

A-England polishes can be purchased at A-England.co.uk for £9.00 which as of today converts to just over 13 Australian dollars and  just over 14 US Dollars. A-England also have free international shipping.

Alternatively, A-England can be purchased from Llarowe for $12 USD plus postage and handling, which is still pretty reasonable.

Color Club Fashion Addict

Hi guys!
Super quick post today I'm sorry. Here is color clubs Fashion Addict. I did two easy coats.
Fashion Adict is a light lavender with holo effect walking the line between scattered and linear.
Here is a comparison of Fashion Addict with OPI DS Original and ChG IDK

Zoya Wednesday Swatch & Comparison

Hey guys, SUPER quick post showing you Zoya Wednesday from their 2012 Beach collection. Wednesday is a green leaning turquoise with a slight dustiness to it.

This creme applied easily in two coats.
I did experience a bit of staining on my skin when removing this polish.

So the furthest left is Zoya Wednesday, OPI Mermaids Tears, China Glaze For Audrey, Zoya Wednesday (again), Essie Turquoise & Caicos, Color Club Blue-ming & Essie Mint Candy Apple. These are actually all one coat.

Color Club Blue-ming Swatch & Comparison

Hi guys! Today I'm wearing Color Club's Blue-Ming from their 2012 Spring Blossoming collection.

Blue-Ming is a gorgous and suprisingly unique turquoise creme.
The formula wasn't bad per se` but not great either. Thin coats left the polish streaky, but it was hard to get enough polish on the small, thin brush to make it apply evenly. This swatch is two thick coats.

I don't really understand why this polish is called Blue-ming because it really leans on the green side of turquoise, but absolutely gorgeous colour. I also added a silver rhinestone at the cuticle - cause I could lol

I then decided to do a quick comparison with a few comon and popular turquoise cremes.
As you can see, no dupes here!

Dusty Purple Gradient with Color Club Shabby Drab & Zoya Neeka

Hi guys, so I've been on a bit of a gradient kick lately but I thought I'd take a break from the glitter gradients I tend to do a lot, see three here that I posted about recently
Anyway, Since I still was feeeling the gradient trend I decided to do a colour gradient instead.
I used two coats of Color Club Shabby Drab (3 on some fingers) and then a cosmetic sponge to place Neeka at the tips. I'm really loving this mani!
