Scrapbook Circle | Be Real

Hi there!  I'm trying something a little different for this month's Be Real post at Scrapbook Circle.  Each month a couple of creative team members are assigned to use Instagram photos on a layout or a pocket scrapbooking page.  I decided to change it up this month by creating a Be Real instagram photo album instead.

@gina_lideros @scrapbookcircle Use Instagram photos to create your own unique handmade album #pinkpaislee #ppfancyfree #cratepaper #americancrafts

I loved the papers and embellishments that were included in the May Here and Now kit and coordinating add-ons.  I started off my insta album by cutting up the corrugated white cardstock included in the main kit.  It is thick and versatile, so I decided that it would make a great surface for my pages.  First, I used a paper trimmer and trimmed white corrugate pieces into 7 5"x 5" square pieces.  I purchased a patterned paper add-on this month, in order to create this album you would need to have extra corrugated paper on hand or you could cut your pages to 4"x 4" each and one sheet should do the trick.

@gina_lideros @scrapbookcircle Use Instagram photos to create your own unique handmade album #pinkpaislee #ppfancyfree #cratepaper #americancrafts

After cutting up my corrugated background pages, I then cut up pieces of patterned papers from the main kit and May add-on kits measuring 5" x 5" each.  I then placed each cut patterned paper on each corrugated piece.  Once I got all of my papers placed, I used my crop a dile to punch through each page, and then adjoined them all using a jump ring.

Next, I printed off a couple of Instagram photos and a couple of small wallet sized photos.

Once the photos were in place I used a lot of embellishments, Thickers, thread, spray ink, lace netting and a couple of other items to finish each page.

My last page of the album is my "favorites" page. I used a tag (included in the main kit) to journal a few things about our special day.

Overall, I'm so happy with how this "Be Real" mini album turned out!
