Monogram Challenge at Exploring Cricut

Hello Crafty Friends and Cricut Enthusiast,

Today is my first day back for the 2012 - 2013 school year and it also means it is time to begin a new challenge at Exploring Cricut. This one is super easy, so I hope lots of people join in.

The challenge...create a card, layout, or other papercraft using at least two Cricut cuts and one monogram.

Here is my Exploring Cricut project...
I thought this would be a perfect "Thank You" card for one of my parents. I am hoping to have a room mom this year and I will be very appreciative of any help offered.
Materials:
K&Company paper ~ Sparkly Sweet pad
white card stock
All Mixed Up Cricut cartridge ~ circles (p. 119) cut at 1 1/2" and 4 1/4"
Birthday Bash Cricut cartridge ~ C (p. 53) cut at 1 3/4"
Forever Young Cricut cartridge ~ flower (p. 70) cut at 1 1/4"
green gems

Other Challenge:

Be sure to stop by Exploring Cricut to see the other Design Team projects.
Stay Creative,
Georgiana

Recycled Materials

Good Morning,

Welcome back for another challenge at Made Especially for You. Yesterday was Earth Day and Arbor Day is this Friday. Our challenge this week supports the environment and the need to conserve our resources (and to use the supplies we already have).

This week's challenge...
Create a card using a recycled material (for Earth Day). You could use old book pages, bottlecaps, newspaper, basically anything that has been used before and is now being re-used on your card.

Here is my Design Team project...

 Materials:
K&Company paper
black cardstock
Winter Woodland cartridge ~ C (p. 64) cut at 3"
green, grey, and black flowers
black ribbon (recycled from a dress ~ the piece used for hanging)
black heart button (fell off my daughter's sock about 3 - 6 months ago)
green pearls
cream craft thread

This Week's Sponsor:

Prize: Winner will receive a set of decorative corsage pins

Other Challenges:
My Sheri Crafts ~ Marvelous Monograms
One Stop Craft Challenge ~ Sketch #179

Can't wait to see all those projects!

Stay Creative,
Georgiana
