Taking a long needed break

I have been absent from Blogging the past month or two and have decided I need a break, since I have been at this for over 6 years. I am not going to be posting on a regular basis, but will post when something gets my attention and/or bothers me. For now let me say that I very much appreciate your visiting my site over all these years. This week I attained a milestone of 80,000 visitors since I started. Those visitors read some 130,000 page views. So again thanks. Don't forget to vote in the min-poll to the right as we are all concerned about the countries solution for its debt problem.

Summary of Blog statistics for the past 6 years

I have been writing a Blog now since May of 2005. In that time, I have written over 1650 Blog posts and had a total of 80,000 Visitors to my site who read 125,000 pages in total. I'm someone who never wrote anything other than an occasional letter to the editor, because I considered myself not to be a writer. So much for limiting self perceptions.

I wrote about politics for the first several years years exclusively, then a mix of financial posts and finally some stock market analysis these recent years.

Thanks all of you for visiting this site. I hope you got what you came for. I got what I wanted out of doing this, the joy of self expression and the uncensored views I hold about the subject matters i have chosen to write about.

50,000 Visitors

Thanks to all my Visitors and Friends. Today this site reached a new milestone with 50,000 Visitors having read 80,000 pages. It has been a lot of fun writing this Blog and receiving comments from the readers as to what their reaction is to my point of view. No time to rest on this accomplishment, as I go to the next major milestone, 100,000 visitors. Thanks again!

A new Milestone reached

Today I crossed over the 45,000 Visitors level and 72,000 pages read on my Blog. I have been doing this now for a little over 4 years. It isn't always easy to write something which is why I have a mixture of articles. I write about the stock market and about the politics of the season. I hope you have enjoyed reading past posts and I will continue to do the best I can to bring you something worthy of your visit, even if it makes you angry. :)

Milestone reached

This weekend a new milestone was reached on this Blog. I have now over 40,000 visitors to the site and they have read over 65,000 pages. Thanks to all you who have come to see what I have written over the past 4 years. Today I start my 5th year wondering where this will go. As long as I think I am helping others, I guess I will continue. The day I don't think I do will be my last day. Hopefully that is in the distant future. Thanks especially to those who have left a comment over these past 4 years.

I have been posting now since 2005. I didn't realize it but I have now surpassed 28,000 visitors to my site and they have read over 46,000 pages. Thanks for coming here.

I had recently promised not to post as much, but circumstances have caused me to post more, rather than less, as you can see the past week. I will post as the moment moves m,e but I am considering starting a new Blog on investing and the stock market for those who like to trade. I once did a Nasdaq Newsletter for a 5 year stretch and sent it to a number of clients, Senior Executives, friends and family, which was before Blogging. It was in hard copy and sent via email. A blog might make my thinking more accessible to more people. We shall see.
