Niky's Creations contest :-)

Eccoci qua...passata la Befana...le feste son finite...e non posso lamentarmi di quanto ho ricevuto da questi giorni. Non sto parlando in termini materiali, ma di persone: amici, parenti, il mio Amore, ho sentito la loro vicinanza ogni istante, come non succedeva da un po'. Non potevo chiedere davvero di più. Spero di portare la felicità che sto provando anche nel 2011 che è iniziato, e di poter esprimere questa gioia anche nei miei ricami!

Here we are...Holidays are officially over now, and I really can't complain of what I received. I'm not talking about things, I'm talking about people: friends, relatives, my dear Love, I felt them near me each and every second, and it didn't happen in a while. I really couldn't ask for more. I hope to bring happiness I am feeling now right in the new year which is just started, and I hope to bring this joy in my stitching too!

On y est...les Fetes sont finies maintenent, et je ne peux pas me plaindre pour ce que j'ai reçu. Je ne parle pase des objects mais des personnes: amis, mon Fiancé, les parents. Je les ai eu prés de moi dans chaque instant, je ne pouvais pas demander plus de ça. J'espere que la joie que je sens dans ce moment sera avec moi dans tout le 2011, et j'espere d'emmener cette joie dans ma broderie aussi!!




...per ben cominciare questo nuovo anno, ecco il mio primo lavoro finito. Si tratta dello schema che Niky ci ha fornito per il concorso da lei organizzato sul suo blog. Ne ho fatto una decorazione di Natale, la mia prima di quest'anno, e che entra a far parte di diritto della Christmas Challenge :-)

...to give a bright start to this new year, here's my first finished finish. It's a chart of Niky, she gave it to those who entered the contest in her blog. I finished it into a Christmas ornament, the first one of this year, and it's officially the first one of the Christmas Challenge! :-)

...pour bien commencer le 2011, voila mon premier travail fini. Il s'agite du diagramme que Niky à donné a toutes les partecipantes au concours qu'elle a organisé sur son blog. J'en ai fait une decoration de Noel, la premiere pour cette année, et c'est aussila premiére pour la Christmas Challenge! :-)


L'estrazione avverrà domani, quindi in bocca al lupo a tutte le partecipanti!

Here I am to show you the second work started for the Crazy January Challenge 2011 it's the wonderful "Poussiere de Fée" by Nimue, I had the kit for this one, the fabric is simply wonderful!

Me voila pour vous montrer le deuxieme travail commencé dans la Crazy January Challenge 2011 c'est la "Poussiere de Fée" de Nimue, j'avais acheté le kit et la toile qui etais dans le kit est simplement merveilleuse!

TANTI TANTI AUGURI! Un nuovo anno è iniziato, e mi auguro che porti a tutti voi quello che più desiderate!

Questo è quanto ho prodotto in termini di "rimasugli" di fili nel 2010, non è tutto in realtà, perchè ho un progetto "speciale" in corso, per il quale sto tenendo i "rimasugli" in un vasetto a parte...è ancora un lavoro in corso, che proseguirà quindi nel 2011!



This is my "stitching garbage" for 2010, this is not all the garbage actually,I have a "special" project which I am still working at, so I am keeping the garbage for this project in another place. It's still a WIP so it will last for 2011 too!


Voila ma poubelle à fils pour l'année 2010! Ce n'est pas tous, j'ai une autre poubelle pour un autre project que je suis encore en train de broder! Je vais broder ça dans le 2011 aussi!

Prairie Schooler Halloween Exchange 2010

Ieri ho ricevuto dalla Florida, e più precisamente da Lisa, lo scambio di Halloween organizzato nel gruppo Yahoo! della Prairie Schooler. Guardate che meraviglie ho ricevuto! Il cuscinetto è meraviglioso, e rifinito benissimo, davvero bello!! E tutto il resto, stoffa, bottoni, matassine, sono molto utili, specialmente il 3371, rimango sempre senza! :-) Grazie cara Lisa!

Yesterday I have received from Lisa in Florida my piece for the Halloween exchange organized in our Prairie Schooler Yahoo! Group. Just have a look, isn't all the stuff wonderful? The little cushion is just awesome, and perfectly finished, just cute!!! And all the extras, fabric, buttons, threads are so useful! Espcially DMC 3371,I keep reaining in lack of this colour! :-) Thank you so much, dear Lisa!

Hier j'ai reçu l'exchange de Lisa in Florida, c'etait pour l'ecxhange organisé dans le Yahoo! group de Prairie Schooler. Les merveilles que j'ai reçu! Le coussinet est merveilleux, trés bien fini. Et tous les exta are utiles: la toile, le mouliné, les boutons! Le 3371 est parfait, car je n'ai jamais assez! :-) Merci bien chere Lisa!!



Questo è quello che ho ricamato io per Lisa: abbiamo utilizzato lo stesso schema della Prairie Schooler, ovvero "Sweeping Cobwebs" usandone particolari diversi, io la strega con la luna e lei i gatti. Ne ho fatto un porta aghi, con annessa taschina e cuoricino portafili nell'interno. Nel retro ho messo uno yo yo che può essere usato come puntaspilli. Le ho poi aggiunto due matassine tinte da me con tinte halloweenose, dei dolcetti halloweenosi e una confezione di aghi. Lei ha gradito e ne sono felice! :-)

This is what I have stitched for Lisa: we used the same PS chart, "Sweeping Cobwebs", using different parts, I have used the witch with the moon and she used the cats. I have finished it as a needlecase, with a pocket and a heart-shaped thread keeper inside. Then I put a yo-yo on the back side, which can be used as a pincushion. I added as extras two hand dyed thread skeins in Halloween colours, some Halloween treats and some needles. She was happy with what she received, and I am glad of it! :-)

Voila ce que j'ai brodé pour Lisa: nous avons utilisé le meme diagramme de Prairie Schooler, "Sweeping Cobwebs", masi deux parties differentes: j'ai brodé la sorciére avec la lune, pendant qu'elle a brodé les chats. J'ai fait un porte-aiguilles avec un pochette et une porte-fils a l'interieur. J'ai fait un yo-yo sur la partie derriére. J'ai ajouté des fils que j'ai teint a la main avec des couleurs d'Halloween, des aiguilles et des bons bons d'Halloween. Elle a aimé ce que je ai lui envoye, donc je suis trés contente!

Prima di tutto...visto che sono in ritardo....il La D Da del mercoledi, anche se oggi è giovedi! :)
Ho iniziato il "Something Wicked" dietro gentile richiesta del moroso, che ama particolarmente questo schema. Dato che piace molto anche a me, non è stato difficile accontentarlo!

First of all....as I'm late...here's my wednesday La D Da, even if it's thursday actually... :)
I started "Something Wicked" chart, my boyfriend really loves this one so, as I love it too, it was not difficult to make him happy!

D'abord...je suis en retard...donc voila mon La D Da du mercredi, bien que c'est jeudi... :)
J'ai commencé a broder le "Something Wicked", mon copain aimes ce diagramme, et moi aussi, donc ce n'etait pas difficile de lui rendre content!



Ma ora veniamo all'oggetto del post: shabby chic! Adoro questa tecnica, o stile, e domenica a Cortona ho trovato un negozietto carino carino che vendeva oggetti in questo stile,appunto, e non ho potuto esimermi dal prendere queste tazze, con relativo piattino per biscotti, anche perchè erano a metà prezzo!

But now let's talk about shabby chic! I love this style, and sunday I found a very nice shop in Cortona, where I found those cups and little dish for biscuits, they were half priced too, so I couldn't resist to buy them!

Maintenent, le shabby chic! J'adore le shabby chic, donc quand j'aivu ces tasses avec le plat pour les biscuits, j'ai du les acheter! Le prix etais la moitiè, aussi!





Ispirata da tutto ciò, non appena ho acquistato la rivista "Casa Chic speciale Punto Croce", l'ago è praticamente partito da solo per ricamare questa presina che si adatta perfettamente agli acquisti fatti...

Inspired by that, as I bought the magazine "Casa Chic", my needle suddenly started stitching this pot holder, which goes very well with what I bought...

Inspirée de tout ça, quand j'ai acheté le journal "Casa Chic", mon aiguille est partie pour broder ce mitaine, qui est parfaite avec ce qui j'ai acheté!

Di tutto un po' - Mix'n'match

Prima di tutto mi scuso per il ritardo...ecco il mio Memento Mori...purtroppo non è finito come volevo, ma questo weekend sono stata impegnata, sabato mattina ho avuto varie commissioni da fare, al pomeriggio sono stata tutto il giorno a raccogliere firme per i referendum sull'Acqua pubblica (se non l'avete fatto, firmate, è importantissimo!!) , alla sera ho preparato la cena per me e il fidanzato, poi finale di Champions League, e domenica..

First of all sorry for my late in posting...here's my Memento Mori...unfortunately it's not finished as I wanted, but last weekend I was so busy, saturday morning going there and there for some shopping and things to do, saturday afternoon I was all the day taking signatures to ask a referendum to keep water public and not to give it to private industries, and in the evening I had to prepare dinner for me and DB then watched soccer Champions League finale...then, on sunday...

Ieri invece ho trovato la cornice perfetta per il mio "Merry Christmas" di Blackbird Designs terminato tanto tempo fa... è difficile trovarne di questa forma già pronte, quindi non me la sono lasciata scappare...

Yesterday I found the perfect frame for my BBD "Merry Christmas" finished some time ago...it's difficult to find a shape like this for a ready-made frame, so I just bought it...



ha anche il decoro simile a quello del ricamo...l'unico mio dubbio ora è se lasciarla dorata o dipingerla di un verde simile a quello delle foglie dell'agrifoglio...cosa ne dite? Si accettano consigli!! :)

the motiv is similar to the stitched piece too...my only doubt now is if leave it gold or paint it with a green similar to the one of the holly leaves...what would you do? Advice needed please! :)



Ed ora vi lascio con questa, che non c'entra niente ma mi piace, è il mio portaspilli che ogni volta mi riporta a Las Vegas!!

Scary Stockings

Un post veloce veloce, e in ritardo, per il Blackbird Designs del giovedi. Volevo fare una foto a tema e così ho aperto prima del tempo la mia scatola di Halloween (Samhain) per ambientare meglio le mie due spaventose calzine...a dire la verità fanno poca paura vero? Ma sono carine! :)

A quick (and late) post for my Thursday Blackbird Designs. I wanted to put Halloween (Samhain) stuff in the picture of my scary stockings so I opened my Halloween (Samhain) box before it's its time...actually those stockings aren't scary at all..but they are nice!

La D Da cardinal is ready for My Christmas tree..!

Mercoledi significa La D Da..quindi ecco il mio lavoretto di questa settimana, un simpatico uccellino, lo schema è tratto dal numero del 2006 della rivista Just Cross Stitch Ornaments. La tela è una 16 fili,tinta a mano da me in bordeaux

Wednesday means La D Da...so here' my work for this week, a nice cardinal taken from 2006 Ornaments issue of Just Cross Stitch. The fabric is a 16 count hand dyed in dark red by me.

Mercredi est le jour pour les La D Da...donc voila mon petit travail de cette semaine, un petit oiseau tiré par "Just Cross Stitch Ornaments" du 2006. J'ai peint la toile 40ct par moi meme en rouge foncé

Weekly update!

Lo so, lo so, ho latitato la scorsa settimana, ma ora vi toccherà un post unico on tutti gli aggiornamenti :)

I know, I know, I was absent last week, but now you'll have a post with all the updates of last week :)

Je le sais, je n'etais pas la la semaine passée, mais voilà un article avec tous les mises a jour de la semaine! :)


Prima di tutto, essendo lunedi, il Memento Mori: ho abbandonato il mio Salem Remembered per un po' perchè ho ricevuto questo schema CHS, "The Curse Of The Raven" e non vedevo l'ora di inizarlo!

First of all, as if it's Monday, Memento Mori project: I abandoned my Salem Remembered for a while because I received this CHS chart "The Curse Of The Raven" and I couldn't wait to start it!

D'abord, le lundi, Memento Mori: j'ai abandonné pour un petit peu le Salem Remembered car j'ai reçu cette merveille, CHS diagramme "The Curse Of The Raven", et j'avais envie de le commencer!



Ed ecco il mio La D Da finito e incorniciato: si tratta di "The Ark", con tutta la pioggia caduta la scorsa settimana sono stata ben felice di mettere in salvo tutti gli animaletti!

And here's my La D Da finished: it's "The Ark", with all the heavy rain of last week I am so happy that all the animals are safe and sound now!

Et voilà mon La D Da, "The Ark", fini et cadré: avec la pluie de la semaine derniére, je suis contente que les animaux sont a l'abri maintenent!





La cornice è made in Ikea, poi dipinta da me, ho creato questo colore mischiando un verde marcio col nero.

E per quanto riguarda Blackbird Designs.. ho fatto le calzine di Maggio: le ADORO!! Ne farei a migliaia e migliaia, e ormai ho preso la mano anche a rifinirle! Mi piacciono troppo!

And about Blackbird Designs...I made the "Three Stockings For May": I LOVE them! Iwould stitch them forever and ever, and now I am faster in finishing them! I really like them!

Et pour ce qui concerne Blackbird Designs...j'ai brodé les "Three Stockings For May", j'ADORE ces broderies! Et maintenent je suis rapide a les faire! Je les aime beucoup!



Ho anche rifinito il ricamo fatto due settimane fa, ora pronto per l'albero di Natale!

I have finished-finished the stitched piece made two weeks ago, now it's ready for my Christmas Tree!

J'ai fini aussi la broderie que j'ai brodée il y a deux semaines: maintenent c'est prete pour le sapin de Noel!






E' tutto per ora, sono già alle prese con il La D Da del mercoledì, volevo iniziare "Marion the Librarian" ma siccome mi trovo in una fase in cui voglio inziare un ricamo e vederlo finito nel giro di pochissimo, mi sono organizzata quattro progettini natalizi veloci veloci e carinissimi!

It's all for now, I am now on the La D Da project for Wednesday, my idea was to start "Marion the Librarian" but in this period I love to start something and see it finished in a little while, so I prepared four easy projects talking Christmassy, quick and nice!

Bon, c'est tout. Je suis en train maintenent de broder le La D Da du Mercredi. Ke voulais commencer "Marion The Librarian" mais je veux commencer une broderie et la voire finie dans un petit peu, donc j'ai quatre petit projects pour Noel, rapides et trés jolies!

Blackbird Thursday

Ed eccoci al post del giovedì! Giovedì vuol dire Blackbird Designs, e quindi ecco quanto ho realizzato. Si tratta dello schema "Love letters" tratto dal libro Joyeux Noel. Avevo voglia di iniziare qualcosa e finirlo, e quindi ho approfittato del Bride's Tree Sal, il cui tema di Maggio è "Uccelli", per fare questo piccolo ornamento per l'albero di Natale, su tela 16 fili. Lo trovo decisamente adorabile!

And this is Thursday's post! Thursday means Blackbird Designs, so here's what I've done. I wanted to do something to start and finish in the same evening, so I made the ornament for the Bride's Tree Sal, for which the theme of May is "Birds". This chart is "Love Letters" from the "Joyeux Noel" book. I stitched it on 40ct fabric. I love this cute ornie!

Et voila l'article du jeudi. Jeudi est le jour de Blackbird Designs, hier soir j'avais envie de commencer une broderie et de la finir, donc j'ai brodé ce petit oiseau tiré par le livre "Joyeux Noeel", c'est pour le Bride's Tree Sal, dont pour le mois de Mai on brode un ou plusieurs oiseau(x). J'ai brodé sur une toile de lin 40ct/16 fils J'adore ce petit oiseau!

(La) D (Da) Day!

...e come col D-Day gli alleati sbarcarono in Normandia...oggi sbarco nel meraviglioso mondo La-D-Da sempre grazie all'amica Nadia!

...and as the allied troops landed in Normandy...I am landing today in the beautiful world of La-D-Da, thanks to my friend Nadia...

..et comme les forces alliées sont debarqueées en Normandie..je debarque aujourd'hui dans le merveilleux monde de La-D-Da, toujours en remercient l'amie Nadia...



Avevo molti schemi fra cui scegliere, dato che non ho ancora mai ricamato un La-D-Da, ero molto indecisa, ma...la pioggia incessante di questi giorni mi ha aiutato a scegliere: c'è bisogno di un'Arca..l'Arca di Noè!

I was undecided about the chart, I have alot of charts and I never stitched a La-D-Da, but the heavy rain of those days helped me out: we need an Ark...Noah's Ark!

Je ne savais pas quel diagramme broder, car je n'ai jamais brodè un diagramme La-D-Da, et j'en ai plusieurs. Mais la pluie de ces jours m'a aidè: on a besoin d'une Arche...l'Arche de Noè!

Memento Mori - part 1!

Da oggi inizia una nuova avventura con un gruppo di bravissime ricamatrici capitanate da Nadia de "La Soffitta"...sono onorata di far parte di questo gruppo e spero di esserne degna!

I start today a new adventure with a group of wonderful stitchers headed by Nadia of "La Soffitta"...I am honoured to be a member of this group and I hope to deserve this membership!

Aujourd'hui je commence un nouvelle aventure avec un group de brodeuses merveilleuses crée par Nadia de "La Soffitta"...je suis heureuse de faire partie de ce group, et j'espere de le meriter!


Il lunedi è il giorno dedicato al cosiddetto ricamo "Memento Mori"....ovvero un ricamo che molti definirebbero lugubre, cimiteriale, tetro...ma che invece io e le altre ragazze troviamo affascinante! E spero che lo sia anche per voi visitatori e visitatrici del mio blog!

Monday is the day dedicated to "Memento Mori" stitching...it is supposed to be a black dark scary stitching, but the other girls and me find this kind of stitching really charming...so I hope you visitors of my blog will feel the same about it!

Le lundi est le jour du "Memento Mori", qui est un broderie qu'on peut considerer noir, triste, mais je (et les autres filles) le trouve trés charmant, j'espere que vous allez l'aimer aussi, les visiteurs de ce blog!



Il primo ricamo che ho scelto per questa serie è il "Salem remembered" creato da Lisa Roswell di Primitive Needle. Sto usando i filati di seta indicati, tranne il rosso che è l DMC 815. Il ricamo è 1 su 1 su tela 16 fili..ormai ci ho preso gusto!

The first stitching of this serie is "Salem remembered", created by Lisa Roswell of The Primitive Needle. I am using the recommended silk threads except for the red which is DMC 815. I am stitchin 1 over 1 on a 40ct fabric.

La premiere broderie de cette serie est "Salem remembered", diagramme de Lisa Roswell de The Primitive Needle". Je utilise les fils de soie indiqués, mais pas pour le rouge,qui est DMC 815. Je brode avec un brin de fil sur un fil de toile 40ct.

...volendo, ci si può fare un souvenir da soli...e non si trova in alcun negozio!
..we can also make our very own souvenir...you can't find it in a shop!
...on peut faire nous propre souvenir..qui ne se trouve pas dans aucun magasin..



...e puoi mettere le iniziali, le cose tipiche del luogo, e la foto che ti è venuta così bene..
..you can put there initals, tipical stuff of the place you visited, and the perfect picture you took..
..on peut y mettre les initiales, les choses qu'on trouve dans la citè qu'on a visitè, et la photo la plus jolie...
