CHRISTMAS WISHES.....

Well Saturday's rolled round yet again....i've lost this week somewhere again,LOL...who pinched it!
But it mean's that it's time for another of Jo's fabby sketches over at SKETCH SATURDAY,this week we are sponsored by the Craft Barn and there's a great prize up for grabs for one lucky winner...check out challenge blog for details.
I've gone for another Christmas card and again using the black and white colour combo...alot of my Christmas cards will be along these lines this year.
The tree image is from a Waltzing Mouse stamp set "Nutcracker Sweet"....i've stamped the image twice using a Versamark ink pad and then heat embossed using Sparkle'N' Sprinkle "Guilded Ivory"embossing powder very sparkly IRL.The one image i've glued flat to the card and the second i've raised up using Pinflair glue gel to give alittle dimension to the card.
I've used a Cuttlebug "Snowflake" embossing folder and a Fiskars "Snowflake" border punch.
The sentiment is from a Papermania set.
Ribbon,self adhesive pearls and gems from stash.

MERRY CHRISTMAS.....ALITTLE EARLY!

Hi....it's time for another challenge over at JUST CUTE BEARS,and this week we would like to see "EMBOSSING" on your card/project,now this can be any sort of embossing and the only other rule is you must use a cute bear image...now that's no hardship is it!......

This week due to the theme i decided to keep it pretty simple....i always think and this is just my opinion that embossing done on white card always looks classy and tends to show the embossing off perfectly.

I've used two embossing folders.....Cuttlebug "Graces Frame" and Papermania "Christmas Borders".

The image is one of the new Christmas images from Pollycraft "Kiki Gifts"....coloured with Copic's and Prisma's for alittle added shading.

The sentiment i purchased from Ebay when i first started making cards,and ribbon from stash.

I'm entering this into the following challenges :-

ENJOY THE JOURNEY......

Morning all.....hope it's better where you are,it's absolutely persisting it down here,oh well we haven't had much rain at all and the gardens need it...and mine is looking much greener already...i'm so glad i cut the lawn Monday and tidied it up :0).....that's my other love!
On to my card...i've used this weeks sketch at SKETCH SATURDAY....thank you Jo,once again a fabby sketch to work with.
I'm also entering CARDS FOR MEN this week the theme is "Off On An Adventure".
This card came about because i wanted to try something out...i've had some of Crafters Companion "Spray & shine" for some time and decided to have a play...so the cars had a spray job ...lol,IRL very glossy...once again pants at photography :0(.
The car image is from one of Pollycraft's mini set's "On The Road",the sentiment is from the same set.
I've used Promarkers to colour the car,before cutting it out,spraying it and then raised it off the embossed panel (cuttlebug Herringbone folder and Black Magic "Spell Caster" coredinations card).I've added wheels made with buttons and metal brads.
I've used a page out of an old road atlas....in the age of the Sat Nav's this maybe it's only use :0).
The little Bon Voyage tag came in a kit from QVC many moon's ago,the cord was surplus to requirements off a recently purchased window blind and lastly the wheels are off one of my son's old car's from up the loft...

CHALLENGE 32 ...."COLD AS ICE"

Tilda & Co Challenge 32 "cold as ice",this week the challenge is to make a card using only blue and white....I decided for a change i would water-colour Tilda using Sukura stardust pens,i can never get it to show in the photo...i need some photography lessons..lol,finished off with some glamour dust.
I've used only plain coloured card,navy and white,and cuttlebugged the last layer of white with the "snowflake" embossing folder.
Layered Tilda using nestabilities and 3d'd onto the card,finished off with ribbon,gems and Doodlebug rub-ons for the sentiment...

WEEK 4,"SCALLOP SKETCH"

Sarah Kay Challenge,week 4,"SCALLOP SKETCH".Love these Sarah Kay images,they're so cute,decided i'd enter the challenge this week HERE.

I've coloured the image using my old favourites prisma's and sansador,paper is from DCWV spring stack,cuttlebug embossing folder(swiss dots)and satin ribbon to finish.

This is the second sketch challenge i've entered this week and i've really enjoyed doing them.
