Tuna Noodle Salad

2 cups elbow macaroni (or your choice of macaroni)
2 5oz. Cans Tuna (in water)(if you don't like Tuna, you can use chicken)
1 Can English Peas or Small Green Peas
1 Cup Mayonnaise
3 Eggs
Salt and Pepper to taste
Grated cheese (your choice of cheese)

Cook macaroni as directed on package and boil 3 eggs.
Drain water from macaroni and place macaroni in large bowl.
Now chop Tuna into smaller pieces and add to bowl.
Drain and add peas. Put in 1 cup of mayonnaise. Cut up and add 3 boiled eggs.
Mix all together well.
Add Salt and Pepper to taste.

Once you have put some on plate, I sprinkle the cheese on top. Very tasty on a bed of lettuce and slices of tomatoes on the side.

My Kind of Tossed Salad

I love a fresh homemade salad but Chilly doesn't care too much for them. He will eat one though if I put in the things he likes. This is what I put in this salad:
Iceberg lettuce
Large Romaine lettuce
Baby Romaine lettuce
Diced Roma tomatoes
One slice of American cheese and one slice of Swiss cheese, diced
Diced bell peppers, carrots and celery
Diced ham
Dried cranberries and dried pineapple
Sliced fresh strawberries
Croutons

I mix all of this together and end up with the beautiful salad you see here. I use Italian dressing on the salad. It is a great accompaniment to all of the different flavors in the salad. This mixture makes a delicious salad. Oh, and if you love salad like I do, a glass pie plate makes a wonderful dish to make it in.

Sometimes I add crushed bacon, cucumbers, a boiled egg, or cottage cheese. I also add a few olives and mushrooms to Chillys salad as well.

What do you like in your salad that I haven't tried?

Orange Salad

1 large box dry orange jello
1 large (9 oz.) Cool Whip
1 12 oz. cottage cheese
2 small cans crushed pineapple

Mix Cool Whip and cottage cheese.  Put in drained pineapple.  Pour dry Jello over and mix well.  Chill until set up...at least 1 hour.

***This is a great salad or can even be used as a dessert.  Strawberry Jello or lime Jello can be used instead of the orange Jello.
