Lynn told the CCEE Stampers that National Button Week is coming up, and she asked us to make use of buttons or faux buttons on our project or card. Perhaps that might be a specially made box or jar in which to keep some of our favorite buttons. I decided to make some button "flowers." I even used a sentiment which included the word "button."
Check out the CCEE Stampers blog to see how the rest team used buttons on their cards.

I've got lots to show you again today. My first card today is for both the MFP Blog Hop and the CCEE Stampers blog challenge. Frances Byrne gave the CCEE Stampers a layout to use for today. I used the larger of the two tiger lilies from today's set and some pretty MME patterned paper.
Check out the rest of the team over on the CCEE Stampers blog to see how they treated this layout. But, be sure to continue on with the MFP Blog Hop too!
I'm not an official part of the blog hop today or tomorrow, but I made several cards using today's set. I'm glad you came by to check them out. The Sketch Challenge with a Twist layout I used for my next card is SWAT 95. The twist was to use something you would find in a garden. I sure wish I had something like these tiger lilies in MY garden!
This card is pretty clean and simple. I did pop up the middle panel and added some piercing around the edges, but other than that it went together quite quickly.
The sketch for my first Tree Frogs card is SWAT 52. The twist was to use some black on your card. That was an easy one!
The tree frogs in this set are just too cute!
I used the same polka dot paper on both of these cards. It just seemed to go with the frogs!

I did move the circles to appear on top of the cross piece, which in my case was the stamped cattails. Aren't those frogs adorable?
My second card was made with the Karen Burniston Accordion Fancy Label die set from Elizabeth Craft Designs. With the exception of the little frog on the front (which is from another new set we'll feature later this week called Tree Frogs), all of the images and sentiments are from today's mini set.
Here's the card opened to reveal all three panels.
Also featured today is a new background stamp called Plywood. Sketch Challenge with a Twist 45 is the layout I used. The Twist was that the base color should be Kraft. (I hit the mark on this one!)
I stamped the Plywood image and then cut it into the three tall narrow panels and adhered it to the dark brown square. Then I used another masculine set, Buffalo Spring, for the focal image. The sentiments on the banner are both from today's set.
My second card using Plywood also uses another masculine set from Mark's Finest Papers, Duck Hunting. I send cards to Operation Write Home, so I used the sentiment from MFP I Need a Vacation on it and will include it in my next box of cards.
