Day 3 Karen Burniston Sneak Peeks - Mini Ball Pop-Up

Many of us love Karen Burniston's pop-up balls, and I'm thinking the new Mini Ball Pop-Up will be quite popular as well.  My card for today uses this one, which is 20% smaller than the Bitty Ball.  Another new die is the Long Flap Closure, which is perfect for a slimline card -- and has notches for cutting it down to the mini-slimline size.

And here is my first robin of spring!

There are dies in this set to make this cute bird, including (as you can see on the next photo) his wings and tail.

I look forward to using this Mini Ball Pop-Up in conjunction with the other two pop-up ball die sets as well.

Karen Burniston Designer Challenge - Flowers

This month's Karen Burniston Designer Challenge is all about spring -- the theme being "Flowers."  The purple and yellow color combination is always a good one for spring.  The flowers on the front are from the Flower Pivot Panel set . . . 

. . . and the ones on the inside are from the Flower Pot Pop-Up set.  I used that "framed paper frames" technique that Karen has demonstrated for the inside and added a couple of Border Blends to the frame.

The designer challenge is always so much fun.  I love to see the different ways each member of the design team handles the same theme.
