NOW...
Let's get started HOPPING !!

For the second day of the Autumn Fun Blog Hop, I decided to do a technique that I just recently learned.  It's sort of a combination of a gatefold card and an easel card.  When it is closed, it just looks like your standard gatefold card with a belly band.

The surprise comes when you take off the belly band and open it up.  Voila!!!   Pretty cool, no?

The MFP Stamp Shop set that I used on this card is Scarecrow.

I decided to make a second card today, using a technique to which I often return -- the Side Step Card.

The MFP Stamp Shop sets used on this card are Fall Apples and Lesson Learned.

Now it's time to visit the rest of the hop again.   Here's the Design Team:

Let's get started !!

Susie is starting school today.  I thought this card could be tucked into her lunch box for some friendly support on her first day.  I used another Sizzix die to make the base of my card.

The stamp set I used on today's card is Lesson Learned.

CCEE1434 - Back to School

Well, it's been a long time since I've had kids going back to school, but apparently Amber has kids returning to school today; so she asked the CCEE Stampers to make a card or item that can be given to the teacher at open house or the first day of school.  I just bought a pad of marvelous map paper and thought it would be appropriate for my back-to-school card.  I'm showing my age; but any time I see a school-related card with the words "Welcome Back" on it, I think of Welcome Back, Kotter!

Stop over at the CCEE Stampers blog and see the rest of the cards created by the team.
