Monday's New Resin Release! - Slightly Late!

It's Monday, so therefore it's a new resin release day!

Today we're very excited to show you these incredibly detailed and impressively put together resin flowers, which have a beautiful effect to them.

They will draw the eye automatically thanks to their lovely shapes and the way they have been produced, as the flat back/bottom will allow you to place them anywhere on a craft project and it will stay in place.

Monday's New Resin Release!

It's Monday again, which means the start of the work week again (ugh) but also the ever exciting Resin Release from Craft All Day!

Monday's Resin Release! - Beautiful Coloured Flowers

It's Monday!!!

So while it's a bit depressing that we all have to go back to work on this particularly dull day, we're here to brighten up your life today with some wonderful coloured resin beads that are in the shape of ornate flowers.

We have two sets available, the bold colour set and the muted colour set, each holding 25 pieces (5 of each colour) and every bead is pre-drilled with a side hole so that you can even turn it into a necklace or other piece of jewellery if you wanted!

A New Special Resin: The Mighty Pegasus!

Today it's quite miserable outside, which can only mean one thing, lots more crafting inside where it's warm and dry! Also, to help lift your spirits metaphorically and somewhat literally, check out our newest resin piece... the mighty Pegasus!

The winged divine stallion is usually depicted as pure white in colour, making this resin even more perfect! In the original Greek mythology, he was sired by Poseidon, the god of the sea, in his role as horse-god, and foaled by the Gorgon Medusa.

Greco-Roman poets write about his ascent to heaven after his birth and his obeisance to Zeus, king of the gods, who instructed him to bring lightning and thunder from Olympus. Friend of the Muses, Pegasus is the creator of Hippocrene, the fountain on Mt. Helicon.

He was captured by the Greek hero Bellerophon near the fountain Peirene with the help of Athena and Poseidon. Pegasus allows the hero to ride him to defeat a monster, the Chimera, before realizing many other exploits. His rider, however, falls off his back trying to reach Mount Olympus. Zeus transformed him into the constellation Pegasus and placed him up in the sky.

So there is a lot of history behind these pieces, and the striking images and resins will bring a life a whole new layer of detail and context which people of all ages can appreciate! Perfect for children who love fantasy creatures, those with mythological interest, and those who appreciate historical stories!

Now Offering: Coloured Resins!

So on this gloomy Tuesday in the Midlands, we'd like to cheer everyone up and introduce some colour to your day! We are now very pleased to be able to say we can now offer coloured resins, in at least 8 colours and more on the way, for just an additional 20p-40p depending on the size.

As an example, we've used one of our favourite resin pieces, the window/picture frame in 8 lovely colours:

As you can see, some of the colours are subtle, some of them are very bold, but all would be perfect for most types of cards and projects!

The beautiful darker and more subtle colours would work brilliantly on a retro background, or for something that needs a more vintage or steampunk look, whereas the brighter colours would work great on a child's card or for something upbeat and funky!

The paler colours are perfect for more classy and antique types of cards.

A very special new resin piece, and some exciting news!

NEW RESIN PIECE!

So today we wanted to showcase a very special new resin we have available, the Noah's Ark resin embellishment!

We put it on a cartoon sea background to show an example of how it could be used, but as with most embellishments there are an infinite amount of things you can do with them. They can be painted, glittered up, speckled, or even have a magnet attached to the back so you can have your very own unique Noah's Ark fridge magnet!

The detail on this piece is incredible, clearly showing a giraffe, elephant, rhino, bears, cows, sheep amongst other animals, along with Noah standing proudly on the Ark! They could be easily painted to make them stand out more, but even blank they still pack a real visual punch.

BREAKING NEWS!

Now, you're probably wondering what our exciting news is, right?! Well, we're very pleased to be able to say that we at Craft All Day will very soon be stocking Foamiran, so you can make your own super realistic foam flowers quickly and easily, with astonishing results!

These fantastic foam sheets allow you to create beautiful flower pieces which you can combine or have as standalone items. They are flexible and durable, meaning you can have a lot of fun in making your perfect flower!

We will be stocking white, cream and olive coloured foam sheets at £1.60 and sized at 30x35cm, which we expect will sell out quickly, so act fast on these ones!

After A Short Break - Men's Embellishments!

After a short break away in the sun in Tenerife, we are back with some new items which will excite some of you crafters! Men are notoriously difficult to cater for when it comes to crafting, card making and scrapbooking in particular, so we have picked and made some nautical and clock themed resins that would suit most men we think!

And as with all our other resin items, they can be painted, glittered (if the recipient likes glitter of course!) and stuck to any medium without fear of breaking of them weighing the medium down.

Under The Sea canvas art: Done Quickly!

As we have had a decent amount of interest in the Under The Sea canvas art piece, we decided to start selling kits so people could make their own at home, and arrange them however they'd like. We also decided to release a tutorial video which is currently being edited and rendered, and then will be uploaded to YouTube for you all to watch, learn from and enjoy!

In the meantime, however, we have a quick speed art version of the video for you to get a sneak peek at how it's done!

Beautiful resin embellishments!

So, the other day we mentioned the rise in interest in our resin embellishments, and gave you the link to the Facebook page. Today, we are going to give you a little preview of what's available!

This is just a small portion of what we have available, and as we said before we are expanding the range almost every day, and if you keep up with us on Facebook you'll see more and more as we post newer items.

They are surprisingly sturdy and have an incredible amount of detail to them, down to fabric stitiching on the dresses and the scales on the mermaids which in turn have textured scales on themselves! They can also be painted on, have glitter added to them, and can be attached to any kind of background.

So you can see here, the level of detail and the complexity of these casts is just stunning! And as you can do anything you like with them, the potential results are endless! We'd love to see what you make with these resin casts, so please get in touch and we'll showcase some on the blog!

Resin Embellishments!

So in recent weeks we have noticed a significant rise in interest in resin embellishments that we have been making, which can be painted or left blank and be used in almost every crafting project you could imagine! In response to this, we have set up a new Facebook page here, so you can check them out and buy some if they pique your interest!

We have a very wide range of products available, from small owls and clocks, to larger horses and floral decorative pieces. You can see just a small percentage of what we have available already on the Facebook page itself, and we will be adding more images each day as we have a lot more to show you! We intend to expand the range and will also be adding them to our main website, www.craftallday.co.uk, so you can purchase either from the page directly or the website itself.

These wonderful resin casts are very sturdy and mean you can make your cards more 3 dimensional, and give them a unique touch that will make them stand out by a mile.
