We've been quiet recently... and this is why!

After returning back to resuming Craft All Day duties full time, we realised that this blog, due to not being on our main domain (www.craftallday.co.uk) wasn't helping drive traffic or customers to our main site as people got a taster here, then moved on, or shopped around and then never checked out.

So we are now posting on the website's built in Blog, which can be seen in the main header next to Products, Contact, etc and via this link:

Now Offering: Coloured Resins!

So on this gloomy Tuesday in the Midlands, we'd like to cheer everyone up and introduce some colour to your day! We are now very pleased to be able to say we can now offer coloured resins, in at least 8 colours and more on the way, for just an additional 20p-40p depending on the size.

As an example, we've used one of our favourite resin pieces, the window/picture frame in 8 lovely colours:

As you can see, some of the colours are subtle, some of them are very bold, but all would be perfect for most types of cards and projects!

The beautiful darker and more subtle colours would work brilliantly on a retro background, or for something that needs a more vintage or steampunk look, whereas the brighter colours would work great on a child's card or for something upbeat and funky!

The paler colours are perfect for more classy and antique types of cards.

If you like any of our resins, and want them coloured in any particular option shown above, just let us know which number you like the look of, and we'll colour that resin! As said before, it only costs an additional 20-40 pence to give them that extra bit of depth and reality with the colours, so why wait? Get them while they're hot as we say!

Feature Friday! - Sizzix - Tim Holtz Alterations - Vintage Typewriter

We have that Friday Feeling here at Craft All Day today! It's a beautifully sunny day, and we're full of inspiration and ideas for craft projects and products!

Today we thought we'd feature one of our favourite items, the Vintage Typewriter Bigz Die!

A beautiful and intricately made piece, this Bigz die is a classic. This die is designed for use mainly with the BIGkick, Big Shot and or Vagabond machines and requires the use of a pair of Cutting Pads.

It perfectly cuts through even thick materials, including cardstock, chipboard, fabric, foam, magnet, leather, metallic foil, paper and sandpaper.

As men are notoriously difficult to make cards or certain craft projects for, you can create something perfect and beautiful for them with this die! Or if someone is into antiquities, or even typewriters in general like the legend Tom Hanks, then this is even more perfect!

We couldn't think of a super imaginative title for this particular blog post, but we've found some very imaginative products for you to look at!

Resin Embellishments!

So in recent weeks we have noticed a significant rise in interest in resin embellishments that we have been making, which can be painted or left blank and be used in almost every crafting project you could imagine! In response to this, we have set up a new Facebook page here, so you can check them out and buy some if they pique your interest!

We have a very wide range of products available, from small owls and clocks, to larger horses and floral decorative pieces. You can see just a small percentage of what we have available already on the Facebook page itself, and we will be adding more images each day as we have a lot more to show you! We intend to expand the range and will also be adding them to our main website, www.craftallday.co.uk, so you can purchase either from the page directly or the website itself.

These wonderful resin casts are very sturdy and mean you can make your cards more 3 dimensional, and give them a unique touch that will make them stand out by a mile. The wide variety means that you can embellish your craft projects intended for women, men or children alike. The texture of these casts also allow you to paint them with any colours you'd like, glitters included, or you can leave them as they are, with a marble/cream type of colour and feel to them.
