Teacher Thanks~DSC7

I really love the sketches over at Deconstructing Jen, but I always seem to end up a day late...not this time!!  I have used the fab sketch from their super fun blog hop for my card today. 

I used some fun papers from my Taylored Expressions Kit, the thickers and the ribbon are from there as well and the teacher stamp is from the Make the Grade from TE also.

Happy Graduation! TESC139

Here I am back to share with you the graduation cards I made for 3 kids on my bus that graduated last weekend.  I made 2 girl cards and 1 boy card and included an iTunes gift card, not much, but my gosh they all loved it, so that made my day.  All 3 of them are really great kids and will have a bright future!  For all you hockey fans out there, Theo Fleury was even at their grad...so a wee little town like Bassano, that was the talk of the town!!

I used the sketch from Taylored Expressions for my layout as well as stamps from the Dream Big stamp set that is from TE as well.  Echo Park paper and CTMH buttons.

Now, here is the pretty girl version.  Same stamp set, but  these papers are from the Taylored Expressions kit from last month.  Love these kits...everything coordinates and I love that!

The Sweet Stop Sketches #73

I am so excited for this day!  Saturday my favorite day of the week!  Not only is is time for another great sketch from The Sweet Stop but I get to sleep in!!  Oh my goodness, getting up at 5:40am every morning sure gets to you by the end of the week.  Even if I only get to sleep in until 7:30 or 8, I'll take it!

So back to the other reason I love Saturdays is it's The Sweet Stop sketch time.  Here is my card for this week:

I am using papers from the exclusive Taylored Expressions appreciation kit (not sure what else to call it and thought that sounded good!)  which I just love...actually everything except the image and the half back pearl is from that kit.  The image is from Thoughts of You from Sweet N Sassy, be sure to check out the new Sweet N Sassy website too, it's wonderful and you could even get 20% off your next order, check the site for details.

We are off to move cows today at Seven Persons then to Medicine Hat Costco for some goodness I'm sure. I hope you have a great weekend!

CardDrive-Taylored Expressions-TESC101

I really love participating in great events such as the one Taylored Expressions is doing right now.   Seems like the least I can do for families that may be suffering a loss.  You can read more about it here.

You are supposed to use a dragonfly on your card and of course I couldn't find one off hand...but never fear, Prairie Fairy is here.  I remembered seeing this dragonfly in one of Roberta's sets, so I was good.  Now along with using a dragonfly on my card, I also used the TESC sketch from this week AND all the papers and ribbon are from a TE Kit!!  I added some stickles to the dragonfly's body , BG rhinestones to the side of the card and went over the swirls in the wings with a Spica glitter pen.  The sentiment is CTMH.  I actually made 2 of the same ones and will send them off to Taylor tomorrow.

I have another card drive card to show you in a day or 2 as well as a fun Dutch Dare challenge this week and more Prairie Fairy on Friday!

I really don't know what I am going to do with myself once the Olympics are over...there won't be anything on TV!!  Loved the Ice Dance last night..GOLD baby and the Ladies Ski Cross was awesome today...GOLD again!!  That's a pretty crazy sport, hectic to say the least!  Anyway watching Canada kick some butt in hockey from earlier ...back to watching, thankgoodness for DVR!!

TECC71-Happy Father's Day

As Father's day is quickly approaching, I thought I would get a head start so all 3 cards that I need will be done..I should be good to go. Here is the first one I've made so far using the Boys Will Be Boys stamp set from Taylored Expressions. Everything else is from the Father's Day Key Ingredients Kit.



I ran the metal piece through my Cb with the Houndstooth folder and then popped the image panel up on foam dots. The sentiment is actually from Verve and I used it because they are clear stamps and I could see where I was placing it. However, the is the same sentiment with the Boys Will Be Boys stamp set.

Off I scoot, I need to finish up some laundry and jump in the shower to get ready to pick Kirsten up from school. We are going over to a friend's house today as well for the kids to play some T-ball!
