It's time for a reminder of our current challenge on the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Blog:

I decided to create a stencilled background to use on my card.  The stencil is the Cross Stitch Stencil from Honey Doo Crafts which is one of my recent purchases.  It's a large stencil so I created a background which was 15cm by 15cm - I was able to use it for today's card and the card I shared last week!

I used Flirty Flamingo and Grapefruit Grove inks from Stampin' Up.

After using the stencil I added some more colour with blending brushes and then a tiny accent detail with a fineliner pen.

The birthday die is from Funky Fossil Designs cut using some pink and white card.

New Cupcake Inspirations Challenge - Orange, Pink and White

We're back today on the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge with a new challenge:

New AAA Birthday Challenge - Ink Smooshing

 

There's a new challenge today on the AAA Birthday Challenge Blog:

I have to admit that ink smooshing isn't something I do very often so this one was a challenge for me!  I used Distress Inks in Mustard Seed, Dried Marigold, Spiced Marmalade and Barn Door with a water spray and then trimmed my piece of card to fit my stamped image.

I used the 'Marigold' stamp from Honey Doo Crafts here stamped in black ink and then added a birthday sentiment from Stampin' Up and some black gems.

I'm sharing the Mother's Day card I made from my Mum using the beautiful 'Clematis Spray' stamp set from Honey Doo Crafts available here on their website.

I stamped the image in black Memento ink and coloured the flowers with Promarkers.

The sentiment is from the 'Heartfelt Hellos' stamp set from Stampin' Up punched with the 'Heartfelt Hexagons' punch.

To make my card I used one of my latest purchases from Honey Doo Crafts called 'Clematis Spray' which you can find here on their website.

I used part of the stamp in the bottom right hand corner of the card using black Memento ink and then coloured with Promarkers.

I'm back again today for a second month as Guest Designer at We Love Stamping:

To make my card I used one of my recent purchases from Honey Doo Crafts.  The stamp set is called 'Floral Wishes' and you can find it here on their website.  The sentiment I've used is from the same set.

I stamped in black Memento ink and coloured the image with Promarkers.  

I matted the stamped panel on to pink card from Hobbycraft and added some pink gems from The Works to finish my card.

I decided to use the colour palette in the bottom left hand corner of the picture as my inspiration and I made a CAS card.

I coloured the image with my Ohuhu markers and added a base of Mossy Meadown cardstock from Sttampin' Up
