New Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge - Anything Goes




The beginning of the month means a new challenge at Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge and, as always, it's anything goes as long as you use patterned paper on your creation.

New Sparkles Challenge - Babies


There's a new challenge today on the Sparkles Challenge Blog and this month we'd like to see your creations featuring babies.

To make my card I used elements from New Baby digital scrapbook kit from the Art and Creations of Lauren C Waterworth:

There are lots of different elements in the kit - backing papers, an alphabet, frames and images.  So much to choose from!

I used one of the backing papers, and image and a sentiment.  I layered the design with white card and used my corner rounder punch on the main design and the sentiment.

New from Lauren C Waterworth - Gingerbread Family

 


Brand new from Lauren C Waterworth is the super cute Gingerbread Family digi stamp!

I coloured the image with Promarkers and then die cut it with a Stampin' Up scalloped die.  The papers I've used are from an old Lily of the Valley pad and I finished the card with a red peel off line to separate the two papers and some red gems.

New Merry Little Christmas Challenge - Anything Goes


There's a new challenge today on the Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog and, as always, it's anything Christmas goes.

I'm sharing a little treat box I've made using a printable from Lauren C Waterworth.  You can find it here in her Etsy shop.

It's pre-coloured and you simply print it out onto card.  I cut round it and then scored all the dotted lines on my score board before folding them with a bone folder.

I stuck the little house together and then added some gems, glitter glue to the snow and ribbon along the roof.

It would be perfect for sweets or chocolates or you could even print out multiple houses and use them as an Advent calendar.

DT Card for the Art and Creations of Lauren C Waterworth - Cute Cats


Today I'm sharing a card I've made using one of the new digi stamps designed by Lauren C Waterworth.

This one is called 'Cute Cats' and you can find it here in her Etsy shop.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and added a sentiment from Stampin' Up.  

The patterned paper I've used is one of the digi papers from Lauren's Steampunk Digital Scrapbook Kit which is available here.

Winged Unicorn from Lauren C Waterworth


Today I'm sharing a card made with the beautiful 'Winged Unicorn' digi stamp from Lauren C Waterworth.

New from The Art and Creations of Lauren C Waterworth - Under the Sea Digi Crafting Kit


Today I'm sharing my second DT project from the new fabulous Digi Crafting Kit available from The Art and Creations of Lauren C Waterworth:


The kit includes embellishments, backgrounds, frames and alphabet letter amongst other items and there are lots and lots of beautiful elements in there!

For this project I die cut a tag from kraft card using a Tim Holtz die.  I distressed a piece of backing paper and then combined different elements on to the map before fussy cutting it and adding it to the tag.

I have a series of cards to share using this new kit.  For this first one I put one of the beautiful mermaid pictures into a circular frame and added a sentiment.  On the inside back of the card and the front two panels I've used one of backgrounds, splitting the front of the card with acetate.  The topper was then put on the acetate panel so it 'floats' against the background.

For my card I used the image of the robin on the branch and added one of the sentiments.  I cut away half of the front of the card blank and used some of the backing paper from the kit layered on to red paper.

I backed the image with red card and added it to the front of the card.  To finish the card I used some red Card Candi and gems.
