GDT Card For Relatively Thoughtful - Woodware Snowman Gift

 


I'm back today to share another GDT card for Relatively Thoughtful:


I've used a Woodware stamp set called 'Snowman Gift' which I decided to paper piece.  I have to admit that about half way through I did very nearly give up but I stuck at it and was pleased with the final result!

For the paper piecing I used a selection of Christmas paper scraps and for the background to my stamped panel I used one of the papers from Sam's Seasonal Collection.

New AAA Cards Challenge - Centre Point Plus Outside Circle

 


We're back today on the AAA Cards Challenge with a new challenge:


We want you to use the centre point in the graphic above plus one of the outside circles.

I used the middle prompt of 'birthday' and then 'cake' which appears in the left hand circle.  Here's another view of my card:


To make my card I used the Sweet Wishes stamp set from Jane's Doodles - you can get it here from Relatively Thoughtful.

I stamped the cake and the sentiment and the coloured in the cake using my Promarkers.

GDT Inspiration for Relatively Thoughtful - Diwlai Collection

 


Today I'm sharing some Guest DT inspiration for Relatively Thoughtful:


This month's new papercraft collection is called 'Diwali' and it's an amazing collection of bright papers and images:


It's available here in paper format and here as a digital collection.

I used one of the beautiful papers to make another desk calendar/sticky pad holder.  I just added some black paper and the numbers die cut from a magazine cover gift set.

I fussy cut the main image and matted it on to black paper for more impact.  I used a piece of the patterned paper for an outside layer cut with a die from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

The only things I added were some gold paper for layers, black and gold gems and then I used a fineliner pen to add my stitching detail.

I added some red card and gold paper from my stash, a sentiment sticker and gold sparkle dots.

I used one of the patterned papers and a floral pattern with a sentiment stamped in the middle.  Very simple but I was pleased with the result!

Today I'm sharing my first GDT card for Relatively Thoughtful using the beautiful new 'Christmas at Pemberley' collection:


As always it's a great collection of papers, images and elements to fussy cut.

New Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge - Anything Goes/Travel Destinations

 


We're back today on the Outlawz Twisted Thurday Challenge Blog with a new challenge:

I played the optional twist and my travel destination is the seaside.
