New Sparkles Christmas Challenge - Sparkle and Bling

 

It's time for a new challenge on the Sparkles Christmas Challenge Blog:

I'm not someone who uses a lot of sparkle and bling on cards but I did find this piece of gold glitter card which I used as my base layer on the card and the scalloped circle mat round the image.

To make my card I used some papers from an old Lili of the Valley paper pad called 'Krafty Christmas' with a layer of Craft Creations kraft paper and a layer of white card.

The sentiment is from Stampin' Up stamped in Crumb Cake ink and die cut with a Stampin' Up die.

It's time for the first challenge of the year on the Sparkles Christmas Challenge Blog and this time we want to see a winter scene on your card.

To make my card I used the Nordic Noel stamp set from Funky Fossil Designs.  I stamped and coloured the trees at the side of my white panel.  Then I stamped and cut out the polar bear, coloured it and then used foam pads to raise it up in front of the trees.

The sentiment I used is from the same stamp set.

I die cut the topper using a stitched scalloped die from Stampin' Up and added a stamped sentiment also from Stampin' Up.

I'm sharing a card I've made using one of the new Christmas digi paper packs from Keen Crafter Designs:

I've used two of the digital papers layered with pink and white paper and then a die from Crafter's Companion for the sentiment.  I finished the card with a punched snowflake and some gems.

To make my cards I used one of the die sets from the Stampin' Up Peace and Joy Bundle - you cut three layers of the word and then stack them up.

The patterned paper I used is also from Stampin' Up and the gold paper I've used is from the Paper Mill Shop.

To make my card, I recycled one of last year's Christmas cards!

I added some red foil card stock as a mat for the image and a stamped sentiment from Stampin' Up again matted with red foil card.

I finished the design by adding some glitter glue.
