To make my card I used the 'Layering Bright Butterflies' stencil from Uniko here.

I chose one of the butterflies on the stencil and used inks with a blending brush to create my butterfly.  I die cut a panel using a Crafters Companion die.

My sentiment is from a 'new to me' set from Winnie and Walter.

I decided to make another card using the two step Plaid layering stencil from the Uniko Picked Posies collection.  This time I used inks from Stampin' Up and a sentiment stamp from Clearly Besotted.

Today I'm very excited to be joining the AAA Colourful Challenge as a Guest Designer:

It's a monthly challenge blog based on colour suggestions - the colours provided need to be the prominent ones you use but you can also include neutrals in your design.  You can make any type of papercraft project and it can be for any occasion.

To make my card I used a two step Plaid layering stencil from the Uniko Picked Posies collection.

I used - Stampin' Up Daffodil Delight and Grapefruit Grove inks as well as the following Distress Inks - Barn Door, Spiced Marmalade and Dried Marigold.

My birthday sentiment is from the Bold Sentiments Stamp Set from Time for Tea Designs.

We're back today on the Use Your Stuff Challenge Blog with a new challenge:

I went for a group of three squares on my card using the 'Bauhaus Blocks' stamp set from Uniko available here on their website.  The sentiments are also part of the set.

I stamped in black Versafine and layered with black and white card/paper.

New Creatalicious Challenge - Anything Goes/Add Swirls

 

There's a new challenge today on the Creatalicious Challenge Blog and this time it's anything goes with the optional twist of 'add swirls.

To make my card I used some swirled patterned paper from The Craft House but into strips to make my background.  I used a corner round punch on the bottom corner of each layer.

My focus die from the 'Smile Layering Sentiment' die set from Uniko via Craftstash here.

I finished the card with some gems.

To make my card I used part of the 'Picked Posies' bundle by Uniko Stamps which I recently bought from CraftStash.

I used the flower stamp in black Memento ink for the outline, centre and layer and then Stampin' Up Highland Heather to infill the outline.

Finally I stamped the sentiment in Black Versafine.

To make my card I repeat stamped the 'hugs and kisses' sentiment from the Uniko Simply Said II stamp set onto pale pink paper and then die cut with a heart die from X Cut.

I scored three lines on the bottom of the card and then added the heart just above.

To make my card I used three stamps that I bought years ago when someone at the stamp club I used to go to was destashing.  They are wood mounted but there is no company name on them.

I used Stampin' Up inks in Flirty Flamingo, Magenta Madness and Gorgeous Grape - I stamped off the colours before stamping.

To finish the card I drew a line with a black fine liner and then added a sentiment stamp from Uniko Stamps.

New My Time to Craft Challenge - No Patterned Papers

 

There's a new challenge today on the My Time to Craft Challenge Blog and this time we want to see something with no patterned papers.

To make my card I used a stamp from Uniko called 'Framed - Floral Vines'.  I stamped it and coloured the flowers and leaves with Promarkers.

The sentiment I used is from the 'Floral Vines' set.

I matted the design on to card from Stampin' Up and then on to a white card blank.  I finished the design with some pale pink gems.

My card is a female version of the card I posted on Tuesday this week here!

This time I used patterned paper from Anna Marie Designs.  I also used the Happy die and Birthday stamp from the Uniko Big and Bold Happy Clear Stamp and Die Bundle.

I layered with black paper and white card from Craft Creations.

New Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge - Use Dies as Your Main Feature

There's a new challenge today on the Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge and this time we'd like you to use dies as your main feature on your design.

To make my card I've used a stamp and die set from Uniko called Big and Bold Happy Clear Stamp and Die Bundle.  

The 'happy' comes in two parts - a solid outline and then the word itself.  I die cut the outline from black paper and the word from tartan paper from Craft Creations.

I then stamped 'birthday' with Versafine and layered on to black and matching tartan paper with some black punched dots to finish.

New Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge - Use a Stencil

We've got a new challenge today on the Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge Blog and this time we'd like you to use a stencil on your creation.

To create the background for my card I used the Mid Century Modern stencil from Uniko with Distress Ink.

I then stamped one of the images and a sentiment from the Stampin' Up Epic Celebrations stamp set and die them into circles.

I have to admit this one had me a bit challenged to start with!  Then I remembered the Mid Century Modern stamp from Uniko here and thought it would be perfect for my card.

I stamped it in black Versafine and then trimmed it to fit one third of the card with the black layer round it.  The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.
