12 Days of Christmas Tags Series; Day Two

Day Two and these are easy ones. Super cute, but easy. I stamped and die cut these simple gingerbread men and women. I also used my Creative Memories circle cutter to cut three different size circles to stack on top of each other.

I swear that I'll use the paper scraps generated from those for another project soon! You gotta hold me to it!

Watch the YouTube process video for more details:

Be sure to leave a comment here, YouTube, Instagram and/or Facebook to gain an entry on my giveaway. At the end of the series, each comment will be an entry in the drawing.  The winner will get one set of all 12 tags made this year.

12 Days of Christmas Tags; Day One

It's that time! 12 Days of Christmas Tags Series is starting now. Before I forget, make sure you leave a comment here, my YT channel, Facebook and/or Instagram to earn an entry for the giveaway.

At the end of the series, one person will get a set of one of each gift tag made this year.

Day One, I am using my Cricut to create a beautiful decorated jingle bell. As noted in my Design Space project, I took the design from another Cricuteer but made some changes.  You can find the file HERE.

These tags have four layers of cardstock and are very thick and sturdy. I added the white circles to the backs so I could stamp To and From. You could skip this if you prefer.

Watch the YouTube process video for more details.

12 Days of Christmas Tags Series 2024; Day 12

It's here! Day 12 of the 12 Days of Christmas Tags series. Whew! I made some great tags this year and if you haven't had a chance to look back, you must! There's still a little time to go back and leave comments either here on my blog, my YouTube channel or on IG for entries in the giveaway. Each comment = one entry!

For these tags, I thought I'd pull out all the random items in my "Christmas Tags Container" and put together some tags. Well...that didn't exactly happen. I had a huge creative block and ended up making most the same with little differences. It's ok because I still like how they turned out and you know what...sometimes we have creative blocks!

The deer are the inside of the cut outs of the reindeer I made on Day 7. Look, I'm a waste not want not kinda gal so these were so perfect to reuse. I used the Cricut to create the banners on the bottom and stamped the To/From before adhering them to the tags.

Which was your favorite?

Remember, leave a comment for your chance to win one set of one of each of the 12 tags made for the 2024 series. Good Luck!

12 Days of Christmas Tags Series 2024; Day 11

We're almost to the end of my 12 Days of Christmas Tags Series! Each tag is so different and so fun! I hope you're seeing one or more that are perfect for your wrapped gifts.

At the end of the series, I do a giveaway. The winner will receive a set of one each of the 12 tags made this year. To enter, all you need to do is leave a comment here, on the YT video and/or IG post. Each comment = one entry!

For tag number 11, I used a cut file from Printable Cuttable Creatables and it's a good one! How cute is this Mrs. Claus boot? A little risque for the big guy's wife and oh so cute! The cut file actually includes two different style stiletto boots but I chose this one for the tags. If you place an order with Printable Cuttable Creatables, use code 3SONS15 for 15% off your order!

The boots are 5" tall and are embellished with two jingle bells and twine. I love the gold glitter paper buckle. So cute!

Check out the YT video and see how I put those small buckles on without any stress!

12 Days of Christmas Tags Series 2024; Day 10

Day 10! We’re almost done with the 2024 series. So with these tags, I got real artsy. I decided to do a little water painting. I cut these watercolor paper into 2.5x5" tags. I've had this pad for a while now so I was fine with using three sheets.

Originally I thought I would use buttons for the ornaments but changed my mind. I'm glad I did because I think the buttons would have given the tags a more whimsical feel and as I was painting, I realized that I didn't want them that way.

I used three different greens for the pine needles, gold and frost glimmer daubers, white splatter, and a fine tip black pen for the string, edging and detailing.

So pretty! I know I'm not winning any art contest with these but I love the way the ornaments turned out and the overall look of these tags!

12 Days of Christmas Tags Series 2024; Day 9

Day 9! I can't believe the 12 Days of Christmas Tags Series for this year is more than half way done! Each year I'm surprised at all the different types of tags that are created. Take a look at the past tags by clicking on the 12 Days of Christmas Tags label at the right.

For today's tag, I used an ornament stamp that gifted to me by Rubber Paws and some glittery vintage snowflakes by Ann Griffin that were also gifted to me. I don't usually create vintage type projects but when I saw these snowflakes, I knew I had to use them somehow and this ornament stamp was perfect as their base!

I did minimal coloring and added an embossed To/From tag to finish them off.

12 Days of Christmas Tags Series 2024; Day 8

It's Day Eight of my 12 Days of Christmas Tags series and I swear they keep getting cuter and cuter. If you haven't seen the other seven, scroll back and comment because you do not want to miss an opportunity to win a set of these!

For Day Eight, I used the print/cut function on my Cricut to create these super cute Santa tags. I could have cut them, but the pieces for the face would have been so small so I decided to make it easier on myself!

The tag base, frames & one star were cut so I can give these a little dimension. Check out the YouTube process video to see how they were made.

12 Days of Christmas Tags Series 2024; Day 7

It's Day 7 of my 12 Days of Christmas Tags series. I always have so much fun with these tags and these are extra fun because I used a product that I wasn't sure I'd ever use! Corrugated Cardboard! I found these at a clearance sale for next to nothing and thought, hmmm...I could use these for something. Well, I experimented with cutting these sheets with my Cricut and they cut perfectly!

Be sure to leave a comment here, on my YT channel or IG to be entered into a drawing at the end of the series. The lucky person selected will win a set of one of each 12 tags!

I'm not sure if this made the difference, but I put the corrugated side directly on the mat so the blade wouldn't catch in the grooves.

I embossed the first set of these reindeer and used the corrugated cardboard for the other set. The fine tip on the glue bottle really came in handy with the white "icing" on these tags!

Then I used three different types and colors of twine to finish them. The "to/from" is stamped on the back. So cute!

12 Days of Christmas Tags Series 2024; Day Six

It's Day Six of my 12 Days of Christmas Gift Tags series. I hope you've been following along so far. If not, scroll back and see the first five tags. You don't want to miss them or any of the upcoming tags!

Day Six and these are probably my favorite so far. It's hard to pick because I love them all. I pulled out the Sizzix Sidekick and some dies I purchased from Scrapbooking.com last year  These polar bears are so adorable and the addition of the black and white wooden beads give these tags a homespun look.

Check the video to see how they were put together!

For Day Five, I stamped and colored a couple Christmas cacti on tags. Once they were colored, white pen marks, rose gold shimmer, splatter and edging were added to complete each tag.

Watch the YouTube process video to see it all come together!

The stamp set used was purchased from Photo Play earlier this year!

12Days of Christmas Tags Series 2024; Day Four

It's Day Four of my 12 Days of Christmas Gift Tags series. I hope you've been following along so far. If not, scroll back and see the first three tags. You don't want to miss them or any of the upcoming tags!

For these tags, I uploaded a free cut file from Dreaming Tree. Their cut files are so awesome and I love a company that also has freebies!

Once the pieces were loaded on Design Space, change the middle cut line of the base to score, attach and then cut each layer. See how to do this important step on the YouTube video.

I love the addition of the jingle bell and the gold glitter paper for the top layer!

Be sure to come back for the next eight tags!

12 Days of Christmas Tags Series 2024; Day Three

It's Day Three of my 12 Days of Christmas Gift Tags series. I hope you've been following along so far. If not, scroll back and see the first two tags. You don't want to miss them or any of the upcoming tags!

For the third tag, I actually used some items that I purchased during the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo back in March. I purchased them for this reason, but if you're like me, I usually forget all about them and then rediscover them years later.

Not this year! I purchased the glittery winter forest washi tape and deer brads from The Eyelet Outlet. And the sparkly trees were from Hobby Lobby.

I used vanilla and soft blue cardstock for the tags and they turned out so pretty!

12 Days of Christmas Gift Tags Series 2024; Day Two

December 2nd and Day Two of my 12 Days of Christmas Gift Tags series. I've done this series for many years so if you're interested in checking out previous tags, click on the 12 Days of Christmas Tags label to the right!

These tags were pretty easy to make using a super cute nutcracker stamp set by Avery Elle, scrap Christmas paper and a circle punch.

Faux stitching really adds a lot to these simple white tags, don't you think?

I filmed the process and when I went back to edit it, I realized that I didn't. UGH! I hate when that happens but thankfully, the tags were simple enough to just talk about. Check out the YT verbal instructions to see how they were made.

The twist ties were purchased at an after Christmas sale - my favorite time to purchase Christmas stuff!

Be sure to comment on each blog post, IG post and YT pvideo for chances to win one set of the 12 tags. I'll gather & draw a name at the end of the series and select one winner!

Come back tomorrow and the next 10 days to see all 12 tags!
