Happy Penguins

Christmas Tree Ornaments
Color Dare #471 at Color My Heart inspired these 
Christmas tree ornaments. I used black & white for
 the penguins and Pebble grey with silver for the snow 
drifts. Each ornament has an additional accent color.

Silver & Gold

On the Tree at Christmas
Nothing decorates a tree like silver & Gold. Two Silver & Gold Challenges
 inspired these Christmas tree ornaments. Heart 2 Heart and
  Color My Heart teamed up with a Silver & Gold Challenge.
Using the Silver & Gold paper pack I made 2 ornaments. One is a star
shaped cookie cutter with a winter scene in the center. The other is the
left over tag that was cut to make the center of the star.

It's NO Ink Time at Heart 2 Heart

NO NOvember Challenge
Creating with NO Ink is the challenge this week at Heart 2 Heart.
So.....Stamping is out. What does that leave? Stickease, papers, 
embellishments, ribbon, Picture My Life cards, My Crush assortments...
I'd better get busy. For my Inkless creations I've made a few
Christmas tree ornaments.
Lavender snowflake cookie cutter with circle
punched stickease from 2007 Holiday wishes card kit.
The snowman is adhered in the center using a pop up spring.
Clear glass Christmas bulb filled with rolled papers from
2014 Christmas Yuletide Carol paper pack. I make these
every year with the CTMH Christmas paper featured in that year.
Layered hearts covered with Christmas papers
Star Christmas cookie cutter with circle punched Mistletoe 
stickease and rosette. The sleigh is attached to the center using 
a treat cup.To adhere paper to the back of a cookie cutter attach 
the cutter to the paper with liquid glass, let dry and cut out shape.

Christmas Tree Ornaments

With Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge

Cut heart box @ 5 inches. Adhere box together, fill with
Christmas images and curly ribbon. Add ribbon to hang on tree. 
Cut box on page 23 in Cricut booklet @ 4 inches. 
Emboss with your favorite embossing folder. 
Add a winter scene on the front and back of box. 
Add ribbon and string to hang on the tree.
Cut box on page 22 in Cricut booklet @ 5.5 inches.
Stamp a background on the box and adhere together.
Add a decorative star, a ribbon bow and ribbon hanger.
Cut french fry box @ 5 inches. Add some decorative paper on
the front of the box. Cut a scalloped circle from some Christmas sheet
 music and secure to the front of the box with a filigree charm. Insert a lace 
doily and a piece of Christmas music into the french fry box. 
Add a handle and it's ready to hang on the tree.

Art Philosophy Demo Continues


Home For the Holidays Continues
Three more boxes from Art Philosophy
Box #4 Chinese Food Container
Cut @11" for largest box. Using the Outdoor Denim
Chevron ribbon that came free with your order this month
tie a piece around and just make a knot at the top. Add
a tag card using the October SOTM. Front has some
snow at the bottom with the tree from the ornament tag.
Stamp the inside with the tag card from the October SOTM
and attach to the Outdoor Denim ribbon.
Box #5 Door Hanger cut @ 9.5"
Add some border trim, a rosette, and a tag from the October SOTM.
This is box the perfect size to hold a Hershey Chocolate Bar.
Box #6 Makes a cute Christmas tree ornament.
Cut Box 5.5" and fill with two candy canes and one
snow bear(peaking in the back) from the October SOTM.
Use some recycled curly ribbons for filler.

Snowflake Cookie Cutter Ornament

Sparkle and Glitter
Heart 2 Heart is all sparkly this week. 
The challenge is to add some glitter and sparkle to our project.
This cookie cutter ornament is easy to make. Just trace the shape of your 
cookie cutter and cut it out. Secure it to the back using Liquid Glass. 
Use an adhesive spring to secure an image(snowflake)
 in the center of the cookie cutter so it will pop out. 
Attach stamped images(snow birds) on the edge with Liquid Glass. 
Add your sparkles and/or Glitter Gel as desired.
Now it's your turn to show us your sparkle at Heart 2 Heart.

There's Inspiration Going on at Heart 2 Heart

This week at Heart 2 Heart we are working with this inspiration photo. Lots to see: polka dots, colors, circle shapes, ribbons, twiggy wreath, ornaments, etc. What will inspire you in this photo this week? 


I decided to make some ornaments using the colors Holiday Red and Pear. I also added buttons, the polka dot BTP from Sofia and  ribbons from my stash. So, what inspires you? Lets see your creations at Heart 2 Heart this week as we wind down our Heart 2 Heart Challenge year.
