Meets Atlantic Hearts

Since I'm not too big on "punny" I had to  go way back to find some "punny" in my CTMH stash. I finally came across the eggstra special Easter greeting but I had to really search through my stamps to find some Easter eggs. I finally found some eggs in the "My Peeps" stamp set from 2012. Remember "My Peeps?"

So....here's my eggstra special "punny" card for 

the challenge at Heart 2 Heart.

I used this sketch from Atlantic Hearts for my inspiration.

These cards are inspired by the month end challenge at

Heart 2 Heart: Cut it Out. I used the Block Alphabet Thin Cuts

to cut out the words "Faith" and"Hope." The words are then

mounted up over the cut out space for a risen affect.

Treasured Embossed Card

Easter Blessings

The color challenge at Color My Heart worked out for

a cheerful Easter Card. The White Daisy CS is embossed

with the Rose Embossing folder and embossed at an angle leaving

 room for the Easter sentiment. The cut out butterfly is coated with the

 Clear Shimmer Brush to give is a sparkly shine.

Day 3 Embossed Vellum

Faith, Hope & Joy at Easter

Emboss and open stamp with white embossing powder. Color with

a sponge dauber on the back of the image. Cut out image and attach

with a glue pen. Cover glue area with an enamel gem.

Day 2 Treasured Embossed Card

Easter Blossoms

Using the Rose Embossing Folder with B&T paper gives

a soft background look to your card. Add paper layers, 

flowers and twine for texture. I used the soft papers

from the Gimme Some Sugar paper pack and the Gimme 

Some Sugar stamps.

are from the Chelsea Garden collection. the butterflies are colored with

water color pencils and the Shimmer Brushes Bashful and Clear.

is Lagoon, Thistle, Tangerine, and White Daisy. these are fun 

Spring colors that make a nice Easter Card.

One of my customers gave me some fun gingham with polka dots

Lagoon colored papers. I couldn't wait to play with the paper so I

got busy with the Color My Heart color dare and the Atlantic Hearts

sketch and that cute chick from Some Kind of Wonderful to make 

some kind of fun Easter card.

A Butterfly: Born Again in New Life

I chose this butterfly Border Card from Artfully Sent to say 

Happy Easter to you because the butterfly represents the new life 

after the caterpillar is gone. Just as we can have a new life in the 

Risen Christ after His death on the cross. He is Risen! Risen Indeed!

Get Them While You Can

Special Delivery Treat Bag Kits can be used in more than one way.

After you make your treat bags use the left overs for a special surprise.

The Birthday Treat Bag Kit can be used for birthday treats or Easter treats.

 Use your left over bags to make a birthday card or an Easter card.

The fun stickers can be used to add sentiments to your card or

embellish the center of a flower

Use you left over treat bags to cover a treat box from the Artiste 

Cricut cartridge. This Artiste box is on page 44 in the Cricut booklet 

and is cut @ 3.25 inches. Use the window in your treat bag to cut a 

window in you Artiste box. Cover the window opening with a piece of the 

plastic bag that come with the Treat Bag Kit. Fill your box with some fun 

Easter treats. Embellish with flowers that use the stickers for the centers.

Use the cut scraps for bag toppers. Fill the plastic bags with Easter

treats and attach a bag topper to each bag. This will make a

great Easter basket treat for someone special.
