The holiday season is almost upon us and the  Design Team at Sketch N Scrap LOVES holidays! It would work great for any grade level even the older kids and that is hard to find something not too schoolbussy (is that a word) cuz I really don't like school buses, they are so non metro...ok, I really do like school buses, but I like a more sophisticated school line like this one vs a more kindergartenish one, plus I think you could use this line for pages other then school too. Today MY CREATIVE ENDEAVORS officially turns one! I have enjoyed blogging throughout the year and hope to have another fun year of sharing with you family pictures/events as well as my scrappy creations. And its not really a birthday without presents right? Well, as a present to myself I am treating myself to Valeria and Janna's newest Got Sketch class. This class is all about double page sketches and should be packed full of inspiration! If you sign up or are signed up make sure and stop by and say "hi" during the class! This will be my fourth Got sketch class so I am hoping to see some "old" friends as well as making new ones.

Bella Blvd Sneak Peek

Well, its that time of year once again! Very exciting to see all the new products that the scrapbooking companies will be debuting at CHA next week. I am a fan of so many companies but one of the newer companies that I am very excited about is Bella Blvd. This new fun and innovative company is debuting a few new lines that I am super excited to get my hands one. You can get a sneak peek of my fav new line SUPER STUD over at the Bella blog . Friday's Featured Blogger

One of my favorite past times is blog hopping, something I wish I had more time for! I have been a long time follower of the October Afternoon blog and it is today's featured blog. I chose it because they are one of my favorite scrapbooking lines and they have great exmples of how to use their products on their blog. They are currently featuring one of their newest lines called Road Map and offering a give away of some of this newest line! Road Map is a delicious combo of bold and bright colors and iconic symbols that just make you want to jump in the car and take a road trip! I especially love the journaling blocks and the fun themed stickers! Until Road Map came along my fav October Afternoon line was Weather Vane. I love the earth tone colors in this line as well as this layout I created with it! I know I've posted it before but it truly is one of my fav layouts I have done! Enabler Alert!

Ok, so my scrapping time hasn't been what I was hoping for the last day or so, too much to do to get ready for my upcoming vacation. But I did want to pop on with a quick note and to share some eye candy with everyone and maybe do a bit of enabling at the same time! I have always liked Pebbles Inc's products and their kits are really good buys. It seems they are getting ready to release a new line called Lil' Miss...it is really adorable, great for girls of any age. You can check out it out on the Pebbles blog They are also going to be releasing a Lil' Buddy line soon for those of you who have boys too! So without further ado, my son helped me draw the winner of the blog candy contest and it is MEL!!!!! So Mel please email me your address and I will get your blog candy prize out to you ASAP! What does she win you are asking? Well, she is winning one of each of the three cards that were in the running for the Papercrafts swap favorite, as well as as the cards above! Hope you enjoy Mel. Thanks to everyone who voted to help me decide on which card to take to my Papercrafts swap. The winning card was #3, which was the birthday card with the flower, done in Stampin Up colors: rose red, basic black and kraft..I love these colors and this really was my favorite as well, so I was glad that it won. For awhile I thought is was going to be a three way tie between all three cards but the third card won pretty handily. I am putting the finishing touches on my secret sis gifts for tonight and planning on mailing them in the next day or so. Most likely I won't be posting much in the next few days as I start a 12 week bible study this evening after work and then tomorrow I have jury duty UGH! So I will be there all day tomorrow and who knows how long thereafter, so I will most likely have to wait until this weekend to finish up the two layouts I am currently working on. I hope to be able to post them Saturday, but check back on Friday when I am featuring an awesome blogger here, you won't want to miss it!

My top three picks and Blog candy!

I guess being iced in got my creative juices to flowing. I created seven different cards based on some new sketches I made up on my lunch hour the other day. I have been in a card making rut lately and had been relying on my two favorite sketches over the last six plus months , so it was time for new ideas and new layouts for my cards. I am going to CKC St. Louis in April with a friend and we are attending the Papercrafts Card swap and class. You basically make 20 of the same card to swap with others in the class and then make a few cards during the class as well. So here are my top three that I made yesterday and today. Please help me choose the winner and the one I will recreate 19 more of to swap. I want the card to be something that most people would like and use. So please leave me a comment on which is your favorite of the three by Sunday Feb. 1st at 11:59 pm CST. I am then going to draw a winner from all the comments to receive a RAK of the winning card as well as some other cards I have made. Can't wait to see which card is declared the winner!
