PROJECT UPDATES #THETOWNHOUSE

I've been gone so long....hoping this works and they have not shut my blog down.....:)

I am still trying to catch up from taking 2 months off....

I am making progress at #thetownhouse.....Rose and I have started giving our projects nicknames so when we are discussing them we know which one we mean haha!

Anyway I have been working on this one for about 8 months and the goal was to take it from boring spec to a more custom look!

All light fixtures have been replaced and the last few happened recently...

This one is over the DR table [from Circa Lighting] .....works nicely with the black onyx table that was in the homeowners family.  It helps to soften all of the stone.

I love how whimsical the bedroom fixture is from Arteriors Home .....hopefully the bed will be here soon so I can put this room together!

This little gem was installed in the stairway....
From Circa Lighting.

To be honest I can't remember what I have shown you and what I haven't so hang with me and hopefully I won't repeat myself too much. #oldpeople

I found an amazing vintage rug for the bedroom.  They brought it over for me to see if I liked it and it's a wrap!  Hopefully I will get it installed next week.

Not too long ago I had the sofa installed but I just stuck the old bedroom nightstands in place by the fireplace until I found something.  Well a very productive trip to Scotts and I found a great french hand painted chest for one side.  Then I headed down to Bungalow Classic and found something for the other side!  If you notice I changed out the lampshades to cream.  They already had the beautiful crystal lamps.

I put a small footstool under the console to beef it up a little.  I am sure I will keep changing things up as I go along!

I am in love with this chest and struggled with wanting to keep for myself but it was so perfect in the room I had to be a big girl and let it go!

This cute little vintage footstool had my heart also......

And last I added a pretty pillow.....

The stripe pillows are from Ballard.

Also the question on where the skinny nightstands came from is West Elm!

OK...it's Sunday morning and Cami is lying patiently beside me waiting for her walk.

Stay tuned on Instagram as I have lot's of deliveries this week.....finally the furniture I ordered 9 months ago is arriving!  Whew!

Happy to be chatting with y'all.....

ANOTHER PROJECT UPDATE

Hey guys!  I am out here in Boulder for just a few days....but before I left I did a little styling on a townhouse that I have been working on for a while!

It's a really fun project but of course it is very frustrating trying to get product right now....are you tired of hearing that:)

I still have quite a bit on order but some things have some in so I thought I would share with you.....I mean that is what I am here for right!

Inspiration for everyone...yay!

I think I already shared some of the wallpapers and new lighting but I had the sofa I bought and the 2 chairs I ordered from Charles Stewart delivered on Friday so I could not wait to get over there and do a little work.

So she had the coffee table and of course I had fun styling that baby up!

I picked up the throw over the chair at Ballard Designs and it's so pretty.  It's from the Suzanne Kasler Collection.

I had a lot of art to work with and about 3 days before I had some of the furniture delivered I met my installer and we hung as many pieces as I could find space for!!

You can see boxes in the background so this space was like a little oasis....as they were coming up from Florida for a week!

The tables beside the fireplace were the end tables from their master bedroom that I just put there for place holders until I can find 2 chests.....

I got the rug a West Elm and it's really nice plus 100% wool which makes it easy to clean!

And these dream chairs.....beautiful dark gray velvet that swivel from Charles Stewart Furniture.  I love them!

Again I have not figured out where the tall mirror is going yet.....

Also these linen stripe pillows from Ballard are amazing.....

I brought up the console from downstairs and it fit nicely in this area.....

And I picked up this blanket to add some interest to the back of the sofa since it is what you see when you come up from the bottom level!

So a lot of work left to do but I think it helps to have a sitting area and little pockets of finished spaces.

I guess you can tell that I started this over a week ago and that is because while I was out in Boulder I got some bad news about my sister.  Her cancer has spread and there is no more treatment.

She is home from the hospital and it has been a busy week setting up a bed on the main level and getting hospice.  I am absolutely devastated and of course I am trying to finish up her kitchen and spend as much time with her as I can.  [lucky for me she lives one street over] And work.....and take care of Cami.  To say this is overwhelming is an understatement.

So I am not quitting this little blog and you guys have been so supportive over the last 2 years with all of my personal issues.....

I consider all of you my friends.

Be safe out there in the world.

PROJECT UPDATE

I told you I had some updates on a project for you!  And....it's all about wallpaper!  Lord y'all I picked some winners and was so excited last week when they were getting installed.

This is a townhouse I am working on and trying to get rid of all the "spec" look and give it a more custom look.  We have changed out most of the light fixtures....

Let's chat....

Before.....these were the lights in all of the secondary bathrooms.

After...the boys bathroom

What a difference right!  The wallpaper is Cole and Son and I have always wanted to use it! The light fixture is Circa Lighting.

This is one of the daughters bathrooms....

This amazing paper ....Light fixture is from Circa Lighting.

And this Schumacher paper in the bedroom replacing the ceiling fan with this Currey and Co light fixture.

How fun huh!

I found this bed for a great price and had it recovered.....The back wall got wallpapered in this Schumacher and I picked up these nightstands from West Elm.....

Can't wait until the rug arrives....and the yellow horse wallpaper goes into the bathroom.....

AND.....then I walked into the master bedroom to this.....and I about died!

This Romo wallpaper is crazy good....

Again we just did the bed wall.

This will be the chandelier and below the fabrics.....

I also added a runner to warm things up......

It's wool so good wearability ....

This Circa Light was added in the foyer.....

And this beauty in the main living area.

This will be installed in the dining area....can not wait.

I am still in Nantucket....this place is like a dream y'all.  And I have 2 dogs to love on since Cami isn't here haha.
Henry and Lulu:)

I am so relaxed that I don't even know what day it is....which is a good thing....
