DEAR KEATON FAVORITES

Hey guys.....whats up?  Sherika here from rainy Atlanta and what better to do than some online retail therapy!

But first since the weather is bad today....I am headed to  Soul Cycle......yes I've gone back and I learned to get in there early....find my bike....before the lights are out!  Plus getting a bike on the side wall so I can make like a ninja and get to it fairly easy.

Fool me once.....

I have so much research to do online today.  Furniture and tile for my Boulder project and also try to get my House Beautiful project all put together so I can send off Wednesday.....that is a whole other story!  Trying to learn Keynote because someone said it was easy.  Liar.

Crikey.  Overload.

So instead of focusing on what I need to do I am thinking about all the sales out there!  One of my favorite places to shop online....[probably because they have cool home stuff AND cool chick stuff] is Dear Keaton

Win....Win.

In 2 years since they exploded online they have become a go to site! 

I am posting a day early to tell you everything is 25% off today!

Y'all remember when I did this guest room and used these over the bed!

Who doesn't love a good blue pillow?  Even if these aren't your colors....get that "boho" look by mixing things up! 

I used a similar low table in this teens bedroom!

If you have some extra space using 2 stools is always a good idea.

I never met a rustic bowl I didn't like:)  In my bookshelves I used one to put beads in.....

Its no secret that I love a good white blouse.....

In other news I am busy picking tile for the Boulder project so I buzzed into The Tile Shop which is right next to Homegoods [I might have stepped in there also] and saw these awesome tiles

A quick run to Floor and Decor....are we sick of the "wood tiles"?  I can't decide because I kinda like these....

Do we get sick of things faster because we see everything so fast?  I think so.

Oh well....wish I had time to chat with y'all all day but gotta get to work!

GOODBYE GRAY HELLO BEIGE

It seems like everyone is painting walls white and kitchens gray.  

Until now.

I am here to tell you that gray is done.

Yep.....kaput....finished.....finito....

I don't mean that in a "What!  I just painted everything gray" kind of done but it might be time to retire the obsession.

You knew it couldn't last forever people.....trends come and go and when I don't get excited about seeing a pretty gray kitchen then I know I'm ready to move on.....

So what's next?  I think ivory and beige are going to make a comeback.  

"WHAT......builder beige!"  I know......stab me in the eye.

I can just see all of you with your arms crossed and a scowl on your face right now so simmer down and lets see if I can open your minds a little.

THIS AND THAT

I am all turned around with this ORC!  I usually blog on Tuesday and Friday.....so this is a little odd to be doing a Saturday post:)

I'm thinking a "this and that"....some random pictures of my week...like you care:)

Let's start with a pumpkin painting at West Elm.  It was Lisa Mowry, Lori May, and Jennifer Schoenburger so of course we met first for drinks at Ponce City Market.

If you live in Atlanta then you need to make it a destination.....except maybe not on a weekend cause it's kind of crowded:)

We ate at Minero and it was yummy.....

And...the pumpkins!

Everybody thought I did the white one but I was impatient and couldn't find the white so I grabbed the blue and then my gold dots started running so I went for it.....then everybody else got all designery on me and mine looked like a "hot mess".

So it is.....

It was also a week of shopping to finish up a project.  I bought this large navy velvet ottoman at Stanton Home Furnishings and added some pillows to the mix!

Started another Ladisic Fine Homes project and this one is gonna be fun!

Check out some of the wallpapers we are using.

This Romo paper will be in the powder room and the vanity will be painted SW Urbane Bronze.  

In the office we are using this Phillip Jeffries navy grasscloth on the ceiling and the walls will be painted BM Hale Navy

Hold on to your hats.....

 This iconic Mulberry Home paper will be in the basement level bath with the vanity being painted SW Tin Lizzie

The foyer will be getting these panels from Phillip Jefferies...

The butlers pantry will have this Scalamandre wallpaper and the cabinets will be painted SW Roycroft Pewter.

The "clubroom" will get this grasscloth with the paneled FP walls painted SW Urbane Bronze.

Boom....

I had lunch with my friends Christie and Chris who recently opened an online Boutique called Dear Keaton and they sent me a pretty gift:)

It was a busy week and I have enough work to fill all day Saturday and Sunday.  I am dreaming of a beach vacation where I think of nothing but how fat I look in a bathing suit.  

No stress there right.  Maybe I need a mountain vacation with jeans, boots and a baggy shirt.
