THIS AND THAT

\I have to say that so far....this week has been better than last week.  Whoa....there's a news flash for you.  Everyone said that each day gets a little better and y'all might be right.  Hate to admit that because....well you know...maybe I wanted to wallow in my self pity just a little longer.

I don't think that is how life works....

I have been trying to catch up at work and have made some progress!  That is a good thing.

Let's see.....where to start.

Had a curtain install....and Lord these are pretty!  The Scalamandre trim along the leading edge of these flax colored linen curtains was a hit!

We recovered this pretty Bungalow 5 chair with a quilted Duralee fabric....

I worked out at Bach and they always have an inspirational quote hanging around.....

Over at my Friar Tuck project that I posted about last week they started staining the doors.  Michael and I decided that maybe it was time to bring stained doors back.....these turned out so pretty!

Somebody asked where this project is located..... it's in Ansley which is another beautiful community here in Atlanta.

I have spent a lot of time picking out tile lately...I have 4 more houses to put together.....that is like 20 bathrooms!  Holy crap.  #sendhelp

Last Wednesday night I popped into Jenn Balcos Art Gallery to see some gorgeous art by Joe Adams....

I started cleaning out the office here at my house and of course anytime I am going through all of my fabric samples I get distracted.

It's the curse of a designer....:)

One of the vanities that just got built for Friar Tuck!

It took me forever to find the hardware for this one but I love how it turned out!

I couple of people told me about these Bliss pads  so I bought some.  I am so gullible sometimes but they sting a little when you use them so that means they are working right?

I have had fun posting my #outfitoftheday on insta stories!  This is a "pumpsuit" that I bought at Target [no longer available].

And a friend of mine came over to take some pictures....

Here it is with a little jacket and some boots...

Of course Cami had to get in the picture:)

It has been a minute since I have done anything to my house....but the other day in the middle of total chaos I re-arranged the top of this cabinet...

Not sure why....but it does look better than before so that's a plus.

Y'all I can't find anything to watch right now.  After Offspring.....everything is boring to me.  I have started at least 10 shows on Netflix and after 2 or 3 episodes I'm done.  It must be me because so many people have recommended shows that they swear are incredible!

Just not feeling them.

I have been putting my life in order lately....getting insurance in my name, utilities....and all of that other stuff that comes with being single.  Even though I run my business.....now I have to run my life.  It's OK....I can do this.

The rain in Atlanta.....no words.

A FABRIC DISCOVERY

OK.....I have The Furniture Bank getting me the specs on donations so I should have that by this weekend to pick a winner and announce on Tuesday.

I do know this....
Got a picture from Stephanie today

This is what it looked like on the day I was there....one loveseat and 2 chairs.  Sad face:(/

Today
The mother load!  Sofa city.

I bow down to you guys....cause you rock!

Anyway...results on Tuesday.

The other day I was at ADAC looking for fabrics.
Not a bad gig.

I walked by a wallpaper and thought "Hmmmm....I love that...wonder if there is a fabric"

Oh yes.

It was a delicious  paisley.

I don't know about you but a good paisley will give me goose bumps.

This is by Jasper Fine Furniture and Fabrics.  Michael Smith's line.

Comes in a wallpaper...
And apparently you can make pillows with it..... I found these on OKL [sold]

Michael...did you design this fabric just for me?

I kind of crushed on this one also

Prettier in person huh?

3 more that caught my eye

Kind of soft....country English/Frenchish.

Some of Michaels work.

Yeah....he had me at pretty.

And simple.....

I grabbed a sample so I could place it in rotation to sleep with.

And put it together with some fabrics like I was gonna makeover my den.....

JK....not gonna happen right now.  But in my pretend world.  Yes.

I am all anxious about leaving town and going to NYC to see my niece.  Don't get me wrong cause I know I will have fun but the whole process of traveling sends me into a panic.

Ridiculous right?  I hate leaving my dog.
And flying.
And just leaving my routine.

Sucks.

I'm gonna do it though so see ya Tuesday people:)

LACEFIELD DESIGNS

As much as I love being a designer.....blogging has it perks also!

I got a message from Lacefield Designs asking if I would like to preview their new textiles.

Duh....who me...new fabrics?

Bring it please.

Meanwhile I remember the first time I saw Beth Lacefields pillows at the Atlanta Mart.  I am thinking it was about 15 years ago and I was  instantly smitten.  It was a small line probably about 10-12 pillows but I knew she was on to something.

Fast forward to now and they offer textiles, decorative pillows, drapery panels, art in addition to lighting, rugs, and tabletop.

Lacefield Designs are headquartered in Atlanta and all product is made in the southeast.....important detail.....

Here are some of the new textiles....

Love these colors.....Apricot

Colorway: Cyan

Colorway: Capri

  Colorway: Spring

Colorway: Mulberry

These are so great right?

I decided to show a few of their moodboards from the website....

This is one of my favorites....

Who doesn't like these colors....

Of course you know this one has my name on it!

Navy with anything is always a classic.

I love this large print so much!  It comes in quite a few color ways....

Green and brown.....

Gorgeous citron and brown.....

I used a Lacefield pillow in the Inspiration Showhouse....
That little brown beauty with the greek key!

You can find the textiles locally at Lewis and Sheron and Decorating Mart.  Pillows can be found around town at Huff Harrington Home, Mrs. Howard, Stanton Home Furnishings, Peridot, and The Mercantile.

If you don't live in Atlanta go to the website and check out other locations.....

Seriously y'all....it is no secret my love of pillows....and fabric combinations.  Their website really got my head spinning!

I think a post about pillows and fabric is a great way to start the week......just saying.
