WORLD MARKET OUTDOOR

Well..... we might be in the middle of winter but I'm looking forward to spring...which for Atlanta is just around the corner....don't hate if you live in Minnesota:)

I am still trying to finish up my sisters porch before it gets warm so I am all things outdoor right now.  I was in Target the other day and they already have their stuff out and of course I was excited to see that that it was very neutral!!

My thoughts about that is you can always add color with planters and such right?

I thought I would check out World Market.  I used to stroll around that place all the time as they were right next to my grocery store.  Then....they up and moved and I was not happy about that.

Let's start with the big stuff first....

I love both of these seating groups and as you will see I picked a lot of good stuff to accent them!

And.....here is a good neutral dining set.....

So let's get to work!

Check out these outdoor rugs!

And of course you will need to add a few occasional chairs and some tables!

I'm not mad at any of these:)

Pillows....yes please!

Every space needs accessories.....even outdoors.

And setting the table will be fun with these right?

I did not link these because they are all from World Market....and their website is easy to navigate!

I am headed to Florida today for the weekend to visit a friend....I hate leaving Cami.

That sweet face....who is always there to love me.

I have a lot to share with you since I was at the Atlanta Mart last week.....I took pictures of some good stuff!

I hope y'all have a great weekend.  I am a ball of nerves since I have my divorce mediation in 2 weeks......not gonna lie.....this will be so darn hard.

DESIGN PLAN FOR MY SISTERS SCREENED PORCH

Well the hits just keep on coming.....I'm sick.  Again.  Third time this year.  Geez....

But hey....life goes on and I can't let it get me down.  Moving forward right?

So while everyone is posting fall decor and pumpkins....I'm going to do an outdoor post.

Yeah I need to pay more attention to "blogging rules" :)

Now that my sister's LR, DR, and office look so good due to the spring ORC....she wanted to spruce up her screened in porch.

We started with paint.  And....it was time to go dark.  BM Iron Mountain

Loving.  Not keeping the table but that iron bar cart will stay with some pretty styling!

So furniture....I am using my friends outdoor furniture company because I am nothing if not supportive:)

Let's start with a quickly put together floor plan.

A sectional will give me the most comfy seating and let me add a dining area.

I picked the Hampton Sectional but adding 1 extra chair to it to get the size I need.

I really like the color of it against the dark walls....

I went to town on Overstock looking for pillows and rugs!

I will need some extra lighting but I love the rattan sconces to hang on the dark walls as you walk in from the office!  Unfortunately NOT from Overstock....grrrrrrr.

I found the outdoor dining furniture on CB2.  If you look back to the painting pictures you will see that the ceiling fan needs replacing and it needs to go above the rafters because it is way too low!

How about some pretty table decor.  The plates are melamine...so perfect for outdoors. All from Crate and Barrel.

I haven't selected a coffee table yet but I might push the easy button and use the one that goes with the sectional just because why make it harder right?

I'll keep you posted on how it's going.  Hopefully everything gets ordered this week!

Today I am driving down to Madison, Ga to check on the renovation progress and make sure everything I picked out will work!

Busy times.

Thanks for reading y'all....

MY ALMOST OUTDOOR FURNITURE

Y'all I have such a list of things to do for all of my clients I have contemplated just getting a job at Pottery Barn or even Chick Fil A [cause I could eat chicken tenders all day long]......less stress and a steady paycheck.

Why can't everyday just be "install day" where I get to play with pretty things?

About 3 months ago when everyone was showing their outdoor living spaces I had nothing to show:(

Then a friend of mine gave me one of her husbands new line of outdoor furniture from Leisure Made....a sectional.  I was so excited!

Lord I worked those pieces every way I could but my small [size of a quarter] round patio just wouldn't accept it.

I moved everything off and rearranged...... while I let every mosquito in Buckhead have a good wack at me.

No bueno.

I was so frustrated.  Enter my sister....she was building a brand spanking new patio and I realized that is where it belonged!  Me wiping tears......

This thing is the size of my whole house.....

So she rented a truck and came to get it.  Her happiness kind of got on my nerves and I told her to take it down a notch.

We went over for dinner on Monday night and I finally got to see it and take some pictures!  This is the line called Augusta

Seriously it is so comfy....you can ask Cami....

I love how everyone is showing fall mantels and I'm like in the beginning of summer over here:)

I got to pick my cushion color from these selections....

So of course this neutral loving gal picked the tan:)

I think I am going to order this one for me.....

It will fit so much better and they are having a sale right now!!!

I'm off to Charlotte for 24 hours to measure for curtains.....I know....sounds crazy right?!

Maybe I will even work on a fall mantel when I get back.....oh hell....who am I kidding....I do not have time for seasonal decorating.

SCREENED PORCH DESIGN

I hope everyone is having a wonderful, relaxing Easter Sunday.  It felt good to sleep in [7:00....why can't our dogs figure out the sleeping in part?]..... and really not have an agenda today.

I have been working on a screened porch this week.  I  already purchased the furniture, which is the Saybrook Collection from Pottery Barn,  and along with the seating collection I bought the Abbott Faux concrete table.

I looked everywhere for nice, comfortable, not overly expensive outdoor furniture and I have to tell you that this collection was the best deal.

Plus...everywhere else I checked it was a 4-6 week wait!  I received all of this within 10 days, and had it "shipped to store", so NO shipping cost!

I already ordered the Dash and Albert indoor/outdoor rug,  and the Frog Drum table from PB.

A quick review...I have one of these rugs in my kitchen and they are the "bombdiggity".  Take it out back and hose it off.  Great if you have dogs...or "rug rats".  I mean that in the nicest way....:)

The ceiling is painted a pretty blueish/green.

Now the hunt for accessories and a cool coffee table.  I would like something white......

OK...back to your relaxing Sunday.....

Below are a few ideas I have on accessorizing.....
