SCOTT'S ANTIQUE MARKET

Well if this isn't one for the books:)  Posting on a Sunday.  Darn.....who am I?

I am all off kilter here.....

But....in all honesty I decided to wait until after I went to Scott's so I could share with you some of the cool stuff I found.

I had not been in a couple of months.  I know some of you are scratching your head thinking damn if I lived 20 minutes from that amazing antiques market I would go every month.

Well....it's kind of like living near the beach.  You know it's always there so you don't go that much.

This month it was different as I was looking for some accessories for clients so in that respect I scored!

I saw these chairs and they were amazing but just not deep enough....

I always stop for a big beautiful sunburst mirror!

I picked up 6 of these for a client for an all cream room....gonna be pretty with just that pop of green!

I also picked up these for a clients bathroom....you know me I gotta add that patina!

I really liked this picture and almost sent it to a client but I hit a wall at that point I think....haha

And of course I am always taking pictures of styling for inspiration!

This whole situation below had me giddy!

Rose was proud of me because I wanted to buy this blanket but I managed to walk away.....like I need another vintage blanket:)

This was one beautiful mid century chest in perfect condition!

Oh yeah....this was a little deal for a clients back foyer....just a little styling piece you know!

This pillow....yes please!

And this gorgeous beauty!

Then we ran across these original Heywood Wakefield chairs and Rose bought them for a client! We found them on 1st Dibs.....and she got them all for the price of just one!

I always say yes always to pretty pots!

I also picked up a series of these little bird prints for a client:)

And a series of the cool black and white abstracts for another client...... I told you I scored!

Just as I was leaving I saw this cool table....of course I would have to rough it up a little cause it was a little too new looking!

Some amazing rugs......

I picked up the middle rug to try for a client....plus 3 more.

Loved this over-dyed rug!  Beware though....because if you try to clean them sometimes the dye can come off!  Just FYI

This beauty.....

All in all it was a fun day.....had a "slaw hot dog" and chips for lunch also.

So now I gotta go make my bed, walk Cami, do my 4 mile walk and then organize my DR table which is full of piles of paperwork that need to be filed!

Y'all have a great Sunday!

JUST A LITTLE SOMETHING.......

Crazy.....look at me posting on a Tuesday:)  Hope everyone had a great Easter with lots of time off and relaxing.

I did just that.  I cleaned out my medicine cabinet.  Huh?  Yup.  And I even painted the shelves as they were rusty in spots.  My sister said "you must have been really bored"....

It was just one of those things when you look at it a million times....and all of a sudden you just start taking things out.  Crap all over the place for 2 days not because little did I know it takes forever for that appliance paint to dry.  I mean that was on Sunday and it's still tacky.

Crikey.

So listen....people DM me all the time about my coin necklace.  And ever since I bought it at Scott's Antique Market it seems to be the one I reach for most days.

Case in point...I have it on with all of these outfits!

Here is mine below...I think I paid 70.00 for it.

So being the good little blogger that I am ....I went on Etsy and found a few for you!

I like mine because it is silver and gold and I love the mix.....so get yourself one!

I am off to get caught up today since yesterday was a wash.....I had to spend the day with a lawyer.  Yeah somebody thinks they are above the law....I will give you 3 guesses who....and the first 2 don't count.

So.....get on with your day peeps:)

SCOTT'S ANTIQUE MARKET

It's been quite a while since I did a Scott's post!

Well....guess what....get a cup of coffee [or a glass of wine depending...] and let's hang out for a minute...

For those of you....is it news to anyone.....that aren't familiar with Scott's it's a monthly flea market here in Atlanta.  2 huge buildings fill with stuff.

I used to go all the time but I had to wean myself because it was out of hand.  Yeah....meaning I don't need anymore stuff in my basement right:)

Let's get going because it's Friday and we need to start celebrating about that!

I love and old piece like this...would be perfect in a modern kitchen.

I don't know what these were but the guy was on the phone forever and I got tired of waiting.  Actually that saved me from  probably buying!

Old concrete planters are always a good thing!

Brass....vintage and some modern art.  Yes please.

This little paper cuter below was darling.....seriously it was about 8" x 8".....

And we don't need any lessons on how classic blue china is right?

I know these juju hats were all the rage a while back but I can still dig them in the right space.

This whole situation.....

Y'all know I have one of these over my mantel.

There are always ton's of porcelain vendors....

These adorable llamas !

I will not be tricked into buying these cute lavender topiaries because I would probably kill them in the car on the way home!

Always TONS of rug vendors.....

And great styling.....

These colors in this blanket!

Black and white art in gold vintage frames is hot!

I have these chairs that I bought on Craigslist about 7 years ago but sprayed mine white.

This original art....1100.00  A steal.  It was huge.

I these chairs were like a 1000.00 for 6!  That is definitely a steal!

These colors.....

If you know me....then you know I am a fan or anything textural....

A special brass bowl huh!

And people....this chest with a marble top was only 1500.00  I mean.....

Another amazing rug....

Always so much painted furniture....I love the shape of this dresser.

Color...color......

Wooden bowls....not old but that's OK with me....still love em.

These raw candlesticks.....

Texture....

So this little number below with a pretty fern in it....right?

I'm only showing you this to SHOW you that you can literally find anything there and right across from this....

Is something like this!

Pretty  fabric and vintage quilts!

Well that's it....I'm actually going back today with a client to get some good stuff for her house.  That will be fun because it still feels like you are shopping..... but only for someone else.

Let's kick this weekends a**
